Our one night stay was very enjoyable. Our hosts made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious. An added bonus was the history lesson of Angel Rose. And the story of the paranormal activity was really interesting.

The Angel Rose is a beautiful B&B. We enjoyed visiting with Rusty and Jennifer. Rusty shared the history of the home with us.A book was available to give information on the "ghost". Jennifer also told us about the furninshings of the home. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fruit. We felt very welcomed and would definitely stay at the Angel Rose... More

Thank You for taking the time to comment on your experience with us. On our home page www.angelrosebb.com down at the bottom is a drawing by Michelangelo. It is the link to the report by the Paranormal Research Institute of Texas. Read all about it. By the way, some of the furnishings and items in the home have been to... More

My sister and I booked a room on the first floor of the Angel Rose Bed & Breakfast for our annual "sister vacation". Each year we pick a new destination and always stay in the B&B. Angel Rose is a beautiful Victorian close to the beach. The hosts were very accommodating, the breakfast was outstanding, the furniture and antiques were... More

Thank You for the kind comments and just a little history. When Jennifer and I were trying to decide which room we would call ours, we examined multiple scenarios, but the one factor that kept surfacing was the difficulty of climbing the stairs of a home with 12 foot ceilings. We decided we would leave the downstairs master bedroom open... More

Lovely home and authentic furnishings. Ideal for Texas history buffs. Rusty was personable and made a good breakfast. We never saw the lady of the house although she was there and close enough to be heard. We were the only guests so I was rather disappointed she didn't even introduce herself during our stay as it is "run by husband... More

Thank You for commenting. It's one of the ways we find out things our guests need to tell us. I do the food and the history, Jennifer is responsible for all the rest. Jennifer is a full time telecom professional (PMP) and they allow her to telecommute. It is a high profile job at the company she works for and... More

This was out first time in Rockport, and it turned out great. The house is beautiful and clean, the owners are nice and accomodating and the breakfast is just delicious. We enjoyed our morning on the back porch, drinking coffee and watching birds.

Thank You, Breakfast is my favorite meal and Angel Rose and Rockport are really great spots for both. Front porch, back porch, cup of coffee or glass of wine... all works for me. Thanks and come again soon! Rusty and Jennifer More

Thank You Robin, We like to think of it as cozy. It is surprisingly quiet inside too. If you couldn't tell I like cooking, especially breakfast almost as much as I like eating it. All our rooms have private baths, the Rose room is the only room with a detached private bath. Come again soon, Regards, Rusty and Jennifer More

This was our first (but not our last) visit to Rockport. My husband hit the jackpot when he booked us at the Angel Rose B&B. Jennifer and Rusty made us the most awesome gourmet breakfasts! Sat. was stuffed French toast with cinnamon apples on top. Sun. was poached eggs on Canadian bacon on English muffins smothered with Hollandaise sauce! Jennifer... More

My husband & I recently celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary. We wanted to stay someplace local and since we live in town we could have choosen any place. We have always heard such amazing things about this very charming establishment. We were immediately greeted by the owners Rusty & Jennifer Day, and treated like family. They went above and beyond... This was our fourth stay and once again we were made to feel like family. Rusty s great food and drink and Jennifer s friendly hospitality make everyone who visits feel at home. Being Easter we especially appreciated the tip about the sunrise multi faith service at the beach. It was well worth getting up for. We'll be back.

The Angel Rose has true historic charm and the history of the home as described by the owner, Rusty made it that much better.
