We stopped here for two nights at the start of a three week tour off Texas. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We did find it difficult to locate the motel on our arrival, this could have been due to our tiredness following a ten hour flight from London. The motel appeared to be under used as... more

This hotel was booked for us by a family member- we didn't pay for it and could not afford to go elsewhere. The reservation was booked through Hotwire and was non-refundable, so we were stuck here for three nights. Here's a short list of problems we had: 1. NO AC- the houskeeping staff kept turning the ac off while we... more

Booked Via Hotwire because I wanted a hotel with a Pool & Gym. Pool was broken (Green Water) during my whole 9 day stay (nobody was working on it at all). Total Weight Lifting Machine is completely broken (cables are broke). Car was broken into at the hotel. The staff was very shady about the whole deal. No cameras outside... more

I was charged twice (one by hotels.com and another by the hotel) for a one night stay. The employee or owner's wife could not find the reservation I had pre-paid for on Hotels.com so she decided to charge me again. She even stated that they wouldn't charge me for the reservations made on hotels.com after it was already pre-paid and... more

I reserved 11 rooms for a one-night Sat. night stay for our sports team, calling the hotel directly one month in advance. Five days prior to our reservation, I called and spoke to the manager to confirm the reservation and drop the number of rooms to 9. I was told the rooms were being held in my name and that... more

If you're only going to sleep here and you don't mind the odd smell and hard bed it's okay. Our room was tiny. The shampoo bottle was half empty. Not sure what chain this used to be but it definitely isn't up to Best Western standards. more

I and a colleague stayed here one night while we attended a conference nearby. It was okay. The room was clean and cold (in Texas in August that's important!). The towels and bedding aren't real fancy but they were clean and inviting after a long day of sitting in a conference. We paid $80.00 for the night. The front desk... more

Don't stay here if you can afford to spend more! The renovation to this motel was only bedding and carpet in the rooms. The sofa and chairs in our room smelled like dirty feet. The common areas, halls, elevator, etc. smelled and had old walls and carpet. The bathroom in the lobby smelled like urine. The breakfast buffet was the... more

We stayed here after looking for area hotels close to the Marriott Solana. The property used to be a Microtel Inn and Suites, but now it's been recently renovated and is now Best Western. If I hadn't known about its past history, I would've thought this hotel was recently built. Rooms were clean and spacious, and the property was well-maintained.... more
