We went to the 2014 Sandfest (April 11-13) and, once again stayed at A.L. This time in the Amelia Earheart room #23. Much improvement around the place and, the owner's kind as ever. Not such a great value on this particular event but all else overshadowed. Had a great time on the island.

We drove done on a whim from Arkansas to escape the cold , looked online and called! We were impressed with the cleanlinest and funky aviation themes! Nice pool ,outside hottub, and grounds. It is a small property but in the middle of everything. Dining ,bars, grocery store. The beach is close but easier to drive too. Great folks ,... More

I'd been wanting to check this place out for a while ... and I'm glad I finally did. The woman working the front desk was super friendly and the aviation-themed room was cool. Pool was nice and secluded. The remote-controlled AC and in-room DVD player are a nice touch. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. If you're sensitive to... More

It's not the Hilton, but that is what I like. Amelia's Landing reminds me of the "Motor Motel" of the 50's and 60's. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. All needed amenities are available and for once they have a real coffee pot, not these one-cup things most hotels put in the rooms. The operators are very friendly,... More

I few my homebuilt to Mustang beach and my son and I went fishing. I chose Amelia's because of their aviation theme. Our room was the Apollo room and it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the door in the am. Jay and Mary are great people.

I only stayed one night but had a great experience. I would defiantly stay here again. I stayed in the J3 Cub room, it was small but nice. The only complaints I would have would be the shower head was mounted very low and the parking is very tight.

I agree with the former review from "Lip Service". Old, shabby, small. Mattress was so hard, I couldn't sleep. Got up the next morning with a terrible backache (and I like firm beds!) The bathroom door wouldn't latch, the AC didn't cool the room, there is a coffee pot in the room, but no coffee (you have to order it... More

We take our guests comments very seriously and are dismayed to hear that this guest did not feel that she had a satisfactory stay with us. A few points about the room she stayed in - - The Amelia Earhart room was completely remodeled less than 3 years ago, and is one of the newest hotel rooms on Mustang Island.... More

Amelia's Landing is a quaint little hotel in the smack dab middle of Port Aransas. The rooms are all aeronautically themed, which is cute and informative. They deliver breakfast every morning to your door, though nothing is prepared at the hotel. Granola bars, fruit cups (like the ones you might send in your kids lunch pails) and blueberry muffins are... More

We booked last minute for a last minute getaway to Port A. My husband called and the inn keeper was very accommodating. She recomended we stay in the Float Plans room. It is a cute room with a fridge! We where able to walk to great restaurants and cafes.
