My family and I stayed at the Balinese Flats in the piers and really liked it. It was bigger then I thought but still on the small side but that was just fine with us, we only wanted to eat and sleep there. It was great to have a microwave and dishes when traveling with children. Everyone was very friendly... more

The Balinese Flats isn't your typical motel, and that's what we like about it. We've stayed there three times. The Flats were built in the 50s, and you can tell, but they have been updated. I was referred to this place by Laughing Horse Lodge for Father's Day weekend June 2006. I went on the internet and the pics for the Balinese Flats made the units look expanisve and nice. I payed 149.00 a night when they should only charge 49.00 for for those units that are upstairs. This place is run by Starkey Properties... more
