We have stayed in the lofts many times. These lofts are a wonderful hidden away secret in Port Aransas. They are adult only rooms with a comfortable living area and kitchenette along with a separate bedroom. The owners have added new upgrades every time we visit. My husband and I enjoy them for the privacy and quiet location. The spa... More

We were there for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The loft was very comfortable and pretty. Of course being so close to the ferry and marina and beach made it extra nice. I only wished I had time to go to the spa for some extra pampering. Marsha Starkey was most hospitable and we will definately stay... More

I stayed here last June during Snapper season and was very pleased with the flats which are now being turned into the Starkey Property main offices. The lofts behind remain and I must say that for the $59 per night we paid during a busy spring break weekend was way beyond a bargan. Nice big suite with leather furniture, a... More

We visited PA last week for deep sea fishing and a little beach time as well as some fresh seafood. I was not sure what to expect from the Balinese Flats as the price was $99 a night for a two bedroom on a busy summer weekend. The accommodations were booked by a friend of mine and a couple of... "My husband and I just checked out of the Balinese and absolutely loved it!  We had friends staying in one of the pier units, and we stayed in one of the ground floor units. We have stayed here several times over the past 4 years. A lot of changes have been made, so our room was recently remodeled! The a/c was... More

I am unimpressed with both the Piers and the management company. Our family condo was booked this weekend and we wanted somewhere close to the marina for the fishing tournament. When I called to book, after paying, I found out there is no refund policy since it was under 90 days to the stay, I wasn't told I had to... More

Thank you for staying at the Balinese Piers, these units are priced at the very low rate of 65.00 per night because they are very simple units. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to sleep and shower with pleasant surroundings, the piers are perfect. If you are looking for the upscale hotel/condo experience then the Piers are not... This place was perfect for me and my husband... we weren't looking for some spectacular place, nor some hole in the wall dump. When I looked at these reviews it made me question where I was gonna stay. But I went thru with it and can say ill def be staying in the piers everytime... maybe even the flats if... More

I have stayed at several places in Port Aransas and found that the newly remodled Balinese Flats to be the best experience by far! It is truly relaxing. The cottages (I stayed in 2 bedroom) are exceptionally clean and comfortable. They have all the amenties you need for a week long stay. The on-site spa is the best! I had... More

Check in was a little confusing, but we were there early. Finally got that settled, then moved in for the days of Thanksgiving. The rooms are ok. Older, but designed really cool. Few good points: rooms cute, nice and quaint, everything seemed pretty clean, ok stocked (not outstanding), like the showers Bad points: the mattresses stunk! could they find anything... More

We waited until the last minute to book a hotel for a wedding and found the Balinese Piers to be in our price range. We weren't excited about the location so far from the beach but they looked alright on the website so we booked. When we first arrived we had to drive to Starkey Management to get the keys,... More
