Save you money and sanity by staying some place else! My oldest son was home from the Army on leave and we decided to take him and our 9 year old twins on a mini vacation. The service was RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! They had HORRIBLE breakfast, rotten and old! We paid for 5 people to stay and they only allowed... more

We chose this hotel because it was relatively new, was in a great location, and was fairly inexpensive compared to other hotels on the island. That being said, it was still very overpriced. We paid $95 a night after taxes and fees. The room smelled pretty musty but we expected that going in because every hotel we've been to in... more

The rooms were gross, and the people that run the motel are rude. There was hair tin the bathtub, the TV was broke, and so was the hot tub. Right after we checked in we realized what a roach motel this was and asked for our money back, the lady tried to call the cops on us.. HELLO, TRASH!!! We... more

Great location with easy access to Port Aransas. The property is landscaped with tropical plants and is quiet and clean. We were there in late January and coming from a Northern climate it felt and looked like a tropical oasis. It appears to be one of the newer hotels in the area. The desk agent loaned us a network cable... more

The room was just as I expected; very large, small bathroom, paper thin walls, and a not so comfortable bed. I had no problems with any of the people who worked there, maybe because i only talked to them to exchange my towels when i needed fresh ones. The breakfast was hardly a breakfast, but the coffee is all I... more

The room was nice, it had a lot of space, and very clean. The only thing I would change is the T.V. it was VERY outdated and the free breakfast was really not good. Also there is a great eatery called Marcell's down the street the food was great. more

We went to Port Aransas for my bithday not knowing they were having thier annual homeowners meeting. We tried 5 different hotels before ending up at this one. They were the only place in town left with rooms,I now understand why.First off I thought $129.00+ was steep considering where it was located but we really didn't have a choice. The room was clean... more

Don't be fooled by the way the property looks. It is clean and nicely landscaped but the illusion ended as soon as we walked in to register. The older woman at the desk was on the phone chewing out a guest because he dared to ask for more towels because the maids skipped his room that day. After she hung... more

We live in Austin and a Port A is a great place to relax for the weekend, well, until we stayed here. The beds are so uncomfortable I would rather sleep on nails or glass for that matter. There is barely enough room in the bathroom to turn around to shut the door, not to mention the strange smell eminating... more

We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the private air strip. There's not alot to choose from in regards to lodging in Port Aransas for just a night or two and the pictures of this looked nice. The room and property was clean but nothing special for the price that is charged. Then again, all the hotels are... more
