Spent a few days at the Mayan Princess during Spring Break. The Princess has seen better days, our unit smelled moldy, the toilet did not flush properly and the refrigerator did not cool. I called in a work order on Saturday but I never heard from anyone. I finally got the hang of gigling the handle of the toilet to... more

We stayed in room 213 which has a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean view. This unit has been decorated well and properly maintained. Surprising HD TV and internet access. All appliances worked. The building has deferred maintenance including rusted stairwells, broken doors and it needs paint. It appears not many improvements have been made to the property since its... more

I would never recommend this place to anyone. My family and I expected a nice resort when we looked at the websight! NOT AT ALL! There was rust and weeds everywhere. This place may have been nice in the 80's, but it hasn't been updated since then. We stayed in unit 316. The woman we rented from on greatrentals.com listed... more

My family stayed for a extended time in 118 and we had a great time. The condo is a little older but Still in great condition. We really enjoyed the end unit that had a private stairwell, what a plus. My wife and I really enjoyed the new in ground hot tub!. JENNIFER at the front desk was very friendly... more

We stayed at The Mayan Princess March 6-9, 2008. We went to Port Aransas for a bachelor part and to do a little fishing. Luckily we were not in the room very often. We stayed in room 504 which is a split level room with 2 bedrooms. The night we checked in, we did not have sheets, blankets or pillows... more

I stayed at the Mayan Princess with a friend the weekend of December 1,2007 and had a wonderful time. The room was nicely furnished, very clean, and spacious. I have to say my favorite ammenity was the extensive patio overlooking the beach. It was great being able to wake up to a wonderful view of the water. There was also... more

Our families stayed at the Mayan Princess over Thanksgiving. My parents have been coming here for years for a month-long winter holiday, and we have visited and were looking forward to our stay. We had several rooms on the South side of the complex--310 and up. The rooms were generally laid out the same: kitchen and living area downstairs with... more

A weekend getaway turned into a disaster! The room was antiquated with chairs that were falling apart and tiles missing. The housekeeping was fairly good but there was old coffee grinds still in the coffee pot. The weekend was met with rain which quickly found it's way through the ceiling cracks and proceeded to leak into the room on the... more

Just returned today!!! Couldn't believe the flowing rain in rooms 116 and 117. We couldn't even watch TV because of the drops of rain!! Manager never came to see the rooms, he comped us a night but didn't realize the little ones were falling on the wet floor!! The maintenance men were nice and brought us huge buckets to catch... more

Six of us stayed in #216 (one bedroom). It was wonderful. The room has a HUGE jacuzzi tub and plenty of room. There are bunkbeds built in to the wall along with a hide-a-bed sofa. It was very clean and nicely decorated. All proceeds from this condo go to the sea turtle foundation. The wall facing the ocean is one huge... more
