I actually stayed at the good ol' Rock Cottages sometime ago, and I would have thought that things would have HAD to make a turn for the better, however after reading a recent review written about it, I see,..... some things never change. The stay was okay and they were a little polite, but when it came to check out time they did walk the room with us whick was fine by me because there was nothing to hide. Well they ended up accusing us of taking a towel, but all four towels were there but they claimed one of the towels were... more

The beds are the hardest and oldest I have ever tried to sleep on. The mattresses looked like you would find them in a shelter for the homeless. Wouldn"t have stayed, but had reservations with credit card. Also, roaches in kitchen sink. Would not advise anyone to stay here till conditions are better. more

If you are a traveler that enjoys a nice clean room to rest your weary body after a long day at the beach and site seeing. Do not go to the Rock Cottages in Port Aransas. First I must admit the water pressure in the shower was good to knock the sticky sand off, but that was the only good... more
