My husband and I just spent a 2 night "spur of the moment" weekend in Port Aransas. We had no reservations and found Plantation Suites just by driving up and asking their rate for the night...under $70.00! This was a very quiet and clean room. We stayed at the Plantation suites in September of 2004, the free breakfast was great, saved time and money. the rooms were large and had everything you could need. They were cleaned in a timely fashion and clean towels everyday. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will consider them again for next time. more

The rooms at the Plantation Suites were simply furnished, but clean, large, and comfortable. The free continental breakfast was a step up from most places, too. The hotel is several blocks from the beach, but at Port A everyone drives to the beach anyway. The prices were VERY reasonable. We will definitely return. more

Rooms remained not cleaned as late as late afternoon. Towells were not availave soem nights until 6:00PM. Real lack of service. more

This week was our second stay at this motel. We were there two years ago, and loved it. It is still a great place. The rooms are above average in size, and very clean. The grounds are tropical and nicely kept. The staff is friendly. This is a family friendly place. more
