I was traveling with two of my sons (age 10 and 5) and stayed one night in Plano. I pricelined the hotel, so I got an outrageous deal. When I got to the hotel, I checked in at the kiosk (which is pretty cool and easy to use), and was given room 125, which was on the first floor facing... more

We arrived on Friday afternoon to attend a Jimmy Buffett concert on Saturday at Frisco Pizza Hut Park. (As did several others)... The hotel is very nice, new, they have large comfortable rooms. They have a nice breakfast area, full service bar and free computer access in the lobby. The rooms are nice size, sectional couch in living area with... more

When my plans changed on a recent business trip, I ended up at the Hyatt Place Plano because it was convenient to a business meeting and they offered a good rate that included breakfast and WiFi. After poor experiences in other business-oriented hotels, I didn't expect much except hidden charges. I was delightfully surprised. The rooms are one-room suites with... more

Make sure and take EVERYTHING out of your car because they have breakins OFTEN per the policeman that took my report, the receptionist on duty and also their asst. general manager. My car was broken into with several things stolen. They did nothing for me!!! more

If you're not familiar with Hyatt Place, the basic concept is a 4 star quality room, 2.5 star quality service at a 2.5-3 star price. My favorite part is the 42" plasma TV in every room, coast to coast, with HD programming. This Hyatt Place in particular had a great rate... $80 a night. And that's not on priceline or... more

Excellent Hotel especially when you consider that most of the hotels will cost you more money! Comfortable room with all the amenities. I noticed someone complained about the breakfast but you have to realize it is a continental breakfast and you can order a hot breakfast if you would like. Very clean and good location. more

With all the Hyatt Places popping up around the country, I thought I would finally try one. Like most, this Hyatt Place is one of the former AmeriSuites hotels. Hyatt really tried to make upgrades to the hotel and did a nice job on the cosmetics. However, some of their service and amenities are really lacking. I liked the new,... more

We were told this would be a safe area to keep a limited edition car overnight. I found the best price on hotels.com. We were very impressed with everything except the breakfast. We stayed a Drury Inn a few nights before and their free breakfast was excellent but the breakfast at Hyatt Place didn't have much to pick from. It... more

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend in June. Since I had stayed at one of these previously this month I decided to give them a shot again. As their website attests they have the cheapest published rate anywhere. I did see a three star available for less thru Hotwire, but I didn't want to take a chance... more

Stayed in the Hyatt Place June 6 through the 8th. My wife and I decided to take a weekend and enjoy North Dallas, I looked for a hotel off the Dallas toll-way that was clean and fairly new. We usually stay at the Westin off of 121 but we are in the process of building a house so didn't want... more
