The name is what is confusing to most - this is not a spa, nor is it a resort in the truest sense. It is a set of rustic cabins set in a breathtaking setting. The cabins are constructed in an old Route 66 style highway motel. The rooms are clean, the beds a bit soft. The bathrooms are serviceable... More

More like a Motel 6 with a view. The A/C made the room smell like urine, scorpions running around, tiny old towels that feel like sandpaper. Not a family place if you want to keep your children entertained, except for the good Wi-Fi, but that's not what we are here for. Couldn't get the folks that run the horse rides... More

We stayed 2 nights as a family. Not good for young children because they don't have bath tubs. The mattresses were not comfy. We payed extra for the lake side room, big waste of money. No view at all from room except the woods and raccoons. Nice that they have Wifi.

Stayed there in March while fishing Ray Roberts. Room was clean, close enough to charge boat batteries and friendly staff. Stay includes park pass. Well worth the money ! Very clean grounds, well maintained and very quiet. Highly recommend for fishing folks looking for a comfortable place to sleep with easy access to the park and boat ramp in Jordan... More

We stayed at the Lantana resort as part of a wedding party. The views and surroundings were lovely, but the room was not impressive. We stayed on the “tree” side, and sure enough right outside our door was a little trail – very nice. The room itself was VERY small. It had vinyl furniture and a really old TV –... More

After reading the negative reviews, I was not looking forward to our two night stay (July 4 & 5th) in a lake view room at this resort. My fiancé made the reservations two months ago and was looking forward to the get away so I didn't have the heart to complain. I decided to note the negative concerns and suggestions... More

We reserved this accommodation for the last night of our Texas Road Trip (7 April) - we thought we would prefer this to a stay in an airport hotel. We were received very pleasantly by the young lady on duty who seemed a little puzzled as to why we should stay there and were informed that there would be no... More

My husband and I booked a long weekend to get away and relax and do some fishing, however, it was far from a resort and no Marina to be found! No amenities at all! I looked on their website for these and the reason I could not find them is because there were not any! We booked the room that... More

Agree with most of the previous reviews. We stayed during the Winter season, so it was extremely quiet. Assume there is more activity, groups, conferences, weddings, etc. during the Spring, Summer, Fall months. Rather than repeating some of the previous reviews, I'll make it short and sweet with a few pros and cons. Cons: Small rooms, restaurant not open year... More

Was originally going to travel 5 hours to San Antonio from Dallas to "take a break". Then the consideration was how long it would take to get there and back, and just wanted to get away. Did some research on places to visit on "ONE TANK OF GAS" and saw this intriguing place. I thought the restuarant would be a... More
