This motel was past it's prime. While our bed and bathroom were fine, the first thought we had when we entered by one of the entrances was...."where is the keyed entrance?" Security is so important. Then after we had settled in, I went to use the business center. I noticed at that point that the locking device you flip (so... More

You have to understand that Pecos, Texas is an oil hot bed in Texas right now and that many of the people who stay at the hotels are living out of them week to week. That being said this hotel may not be the spotless sort of place you've come to expect from stays through Comfort Suites chains, but keeping... More

Thank you John for taking the time to stay at Quality Inn and write about your experience. As the new manager I'm glad that our guests see how hard the staff works to give our guests the experience you had. The breakfast is a big part that we offer our guests so they can start a great day with a... More

This room was available at 1:00 am, but that's the best I can say about it. The clerk gave us an electronic key, and we had to wait 5 minutes to tell him that the lock was manual--we needed a real key. When we looked at the inside of the door, it was obvious that it had been kicked in... More

We had to have an overnight on our round trip in Texas. The check-in girl at the hotel could not really bother, had a hand over her mouth when she spoke so we could hardly hear what she was saying. Hotel seemed to be filled up with people who worked and lived nearby. At check out in the morning there... More

Work booked this hotel for me. On first arrival it wasn't too horrible. Went to eat and came back to a cockroach. Of course I began searching the entire room. The dirt and filth I found in my room was pretty nasty. Under the beds were completely filthy.

Didn't plan on a vacation in Pecos, but iced roads made it mandatory. All hotels in Pecos are high priced because of high occupancy from oil field workers. Capitalism works! Hotel looked clean and smelled clean. It really is a Non-smoking hotel. All the staff were nice. It is an older hotel; not really a problem. First refrigerator didn't work,... More

After driving for 8 hours we were exhausted and just needed to rest and sleep. Van Horn was still 1 hour away and could not make it driving any longer. So we stopped in Pecos. What a surprise!! A town full of oil workers. The hotel was clean, but needed major updating and maintenance upkeep. On top of that the... More

This place is not the most updated motel nor is it the cleanest motel. They charge $150 or more per night and have taken most of the cable tv channels away because they are cheap. Stopped in to this place this evening, asked the desk clerk (male-kind of) for a room, he was snappy and irritated about something, he blurted... More

We do apologize sir, but as far as the rate of $147.00 we cannot do that rate. And for the channels management did not get rid of those channels our cable provider did and we are looking to get with a different company. I do apologize for the front desk and i have talked to him. we are currently working... More

For the $179 plus tax and the Quality Inn name out front, I thought we were safe but not even close. The toilet was broke and you had to sit perfectly still or you would fall over. There was trash on the floor and trash in the trash can. The bathtub was really gross with "something" growing out of the... More
