Went for friends birthday. Nice country retreat. Had a wonderful dinner Ahi tuna was delicious. Simon owner/ chef was very pleasant and made sure all of our needs were met. Would be a beautiful venue for a wedding. Loved the vineyard setting.

My wife and I spent two nights here. If you are looking for peace, quiet, natural beauty and accommodations that are simple, a tad rustic but still attractive, comfortable and clean this is the place for you! The only sound we heard were choirs of birds by day and choruses of crickets at night. Our host and chef, Simon was... More

My daughter, sister, and I spent a lovely night at Sabor a Pasion, complete with fabulous food and comfortable surroundings. Not only is Simon an excellent chef, he is also an accommodating and gracious host. I am hopeful to have him visit Gourmet Gallery in Waco to teach some cooking classes. I will certainly visit Sabor a Pasion again.

After reading all the glowing reviews we expected a real treat, a weekend in the country with sumptuous meals. While I anticipated perhaps "shabby chic" the accommodations were more shabby that chic. Simon is a well traveled gracious gentleman who is a superior chef. We had made dinner reservations and were looking forward to a sumptuous meal but upon arrival... More

I was surprised to read your review as your family and the children seemed so pleased with the visit and appeared to be have a wonderful time. Learning that you considered your recent stay “disappointing” was certainly a shock. If we had known about your feelings during the stay we would have done everything possible to make your visit more... More

A real treat in East Texas. The food was very good both nights of our visit. The rack of lamb was outstanding and the homemade pasta with seafood was as good as we've had. Breakfast was special both mornings. Unexpected treats like baby vegetables and fresh berries accompanied the meals. The sleeping accommodations are very nice and Simon is a... More

This bistro is literally out in the sticks of East Texas. However, that adds all the more to the ambiance of the place. Simon (the chef/host) is very hospitable, and the venue is very rustic and cozy. The food was out of this world, and this is an excellent venue for hosting social events like wedding receptions and family reunions.

I have not had the pleasure of staying at the B&B but the Bistro is awesome!! Simon is very charming and can hold a conversation about anything. After having dinner there the second time I have officially named it Our Place for my boyfriend and I!! We feel like regulars the way Simon treats us. The food is delicious. Everything... More

We have only had dinner there, but it was great. In Palestine,Tx. it is the most expensive, but worth every penny. The service and food can't be beat. Have not tried the bed and breakfast, but the friends that have say it was great and will come back.
