two very clean excellent quality rooms were rented to us. whats even better is that we were able to get a great deal even though we came in late, the reception was great and we felt welcome. the owner was friendly and courteous even at two in the morning. the hotel was also accomodative to our needs and requests.

This is a generic, 1950s-vintage, “mom-and-pop” motel, that has been somewhat (but not entirely) fixed up. In most small towns it would probably be worth about $35 a night.
