The desk clerk was surly. The rooms SMELLED like a land fill. For $110/night, you'd think someone could clean up puddles in the halls and elevators. Other La Quintas we have stayed at were fine. This one? NEVER AGAIN. Avoid it at all costs!

Nice mid-range hotel. Friendly, helpful front desk people. Only objection: WHY HAVE HANDICAP ROOMS ON 3RD FLOOR??? I was uneasy knowing if there was a fire I could not use the stairs in a wheelchair! Handicap rooms should be on 1st floor.

Traveling with a dog, daughter and small baby and needed a place for the night. Check in was easy, and the place was clean and quiet. The room was adequate size with 2 queens beds. Smelled as though the carpet had just been shampooed and the linens felt dampish, but it may have been the humidity. The bed was comfortable.... More

We stayed in Orange for a family funeral and burial service. The hotel was very sensitive to our needs and situation. Charla checked us in and was extremely friendly. We had a burned out tail light in our car and she directed us to an auto parts store with clear directions and first hand information about the service of the... More

The front desk lady was so sweet. She does her job very very well. The king room was like a suite and was very nice. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were soooo nice. The breakfast room lady was very pleasant. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

My Husband and I didn't plan to stay in Orange, Texas, but we were tired and driving back home and decided to stop and stay here. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and organized this location was, not to mention that the entire Hotel is Non Smoking! The Lobby was very beautiful and had a wonderful seating area with... This is the worst place ever. I checked in and was rudely attended too by a snarky lady who was just plain lazy. I entered my room and immediately noticed how damp and soggy it felt. I turned on the air conditioner and I noticed a weird smell. I took off the cover of the AC unit and was greeted... More

Whenever I take my mom to visit my dad's family in Orange, she has to take her small dog (he is her family also). They do not charge extra, the place smells wonderful when you walk in, the rooms are clean, and they serve a wonderful free breakfast. It is our "go to" hotel.

I stopped at this La Quinta Inn and I needed the restroom really bad that it was an emergency. There was no sign or anything outside that I have seen that says "Lobby restrooms are for guests only" so I went into the restroom to use it. While I was using the restroom, a lady knocks on the door and... More

Hotel was top-notch with the exception of the breakfast offerings. . . not much variety and dry, cold biscuits. Paper eggs. Chorlet, the front desk clerk, was most helpful and courteous. The hotel was extremely clean and smelled fresh. When we entered the hotel, we were greeted with an attractive lobby and a fresh, pleasant smell.
