The cabin was really roomy and very cute and the surrounding area was very serene and beautiful with lots of wildlife roaming around. But unfortunately we had a lot of problems with the electrical circuits in the house for half the time we were there before it got fixed. We were in the dark one night and hot other times.... More

Really enjoyed our stay at this place despite it being a little run down and in need of some fixing up. There are several buildings for rent, from tiny to huge. We stayed at the Post Oak Cabin which is perfect for 2-3 people. The King-sized bed was so comfortable, and the decor was very homey. Even the loft was... More

We stayed at the Cedars Cabins, so we could go to the Antique Fare in Warrington, TX. The cabins are about 20 minutes away from the fare and the congested traffic. We were told a back way to get there and it was fast and close. The Cabins themselves exceeded our exception. Realize that the Cedars are located in the... More

My wife and I visit this place about once a year to get away from the city. We love the peaceful scenery. On our last trip, my wife fell in love with one of the horses that would come up to us every time we passed by.

My family spent time in the Cedars Cabin (at Cedars Cabins) a few days after Christmas. Booking was a breeze and Pat was really nice. Upon arriving, the grazing cows, fishing ponds and fire pit were a lovely welcome. Very serene surroundings. In the cabin, lots of space, everyone had their own room, very sweetly decorated. The owner was generous... More

This was our family's second stay at The Main House, and we all hope we are able to return for another visit in the future. Our granddaughters enjoyed fishing in the pond, flying kites with their grandpa, climbing the big tree, swinging on the swing in the Oak Tree, and wandering around the place. Six year old Emily was so... More

We live in the country so I am ok with sluggish toilets and no water pressure. I even can understand the huge spider in the bathtub. But the place was really dirty. There were dead flies and cobwebs all over. I had to sweep about 30 dead flies off the floor of my bedroom. Under the living room furniture it... More

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary at the Fishing Cabin. We were looking for a close weekend escape from the big city and for some peace and quiet alone time. About an hour and a half drive from west Houston, down some gravel roads, we found it. The fishing cabin, was tiny, but comfortable... More
