My wife and I usually go to a bed and breakfast in Gruene. We thought we would try this historic inn. What a wonderful visit. We stayed in Sophie's Suite. What a charming room. The breakfast was light and tasty. The piano bar downstairs was closed so we didn't have any issues with noise. We lived the history behind the... More

My husband and I opted to stay here on our anniversary roadtrip using a B&B gift card my MIL gave us. I have to admit that we were a little skeptical as we had previously decided that we are not B&B people. However, Prince Solms Inn pleasantly surprised us. The owners and staff were very friendly and took care of... More

My husband and I stayed in Sophie's Suite for our five year anniversary, and we are so happy we chose this B&B over others in Gruene. The room was HUGE, and it was really nice to have another separate mini-kitchen area (Frig, microwave, big sink). Since my husband is new to Texas, I had to show him Gruene Hall, eat... More

My husband and I just stayed here and we loved it! The management and staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was supurb. I've never stayed in a B&B before so I didn't know what to expect but we will definately stay here in the future :)

We enjoyed it from the moment we walked in. Reminded me of the past in a beautiful way. Al was gracious and informative. The location is great. We stayed an extra night and hope to be back soon. Thank you Al!

We just stayed at the Prince Solms Inn a week ago and we really enjoyed it! Before our trip we really wanted to stay there but we thought it was sold out. Luckily I called and they had a room. We stayed in Sophie's Suite and it was just awesome. In a positive way it was just like staying at... More

We met nice people in Tx and one of them recommended the Prince Solms in New Braunfels. It was a success! We spent one night here. "Al " , the host, is such a nice, professional and sweet man and he treated us very nicely giving us a lot of suggestions about what to do. The atmosphere is magic and the... More

Picked this B&B off the internet and I was thrilled when I walked in the door. Stayed in Sophie's Suite and it was wonderful. Staff was available but unobtrusive and knowledgeable about the Inn and the surrounding area. Breakfast was a delight of home baked items and fresh fruit. I am looking forward to going back when I can stay... More

It was a weekend getaway for my boyfriend and I. When he told me where we were staying, I was not so convinced it was okay. I heard it was haunted. However when we entered the Joseph Klein Haus I was surprised. The cabin was cozy and cute. It had a living room, main room, kitchen (with fridge, stove, microwave,... More

Our original plan was to get away for three days and two nights at the Westin Cantera in San Antonio. We decided against it so we could visit New Braunfuls and Gruene. It was a girls getaway (grandma, mom,16yr old and 2yr old) so we wanted to do something out of the ordinary and we decided to give the Prince... More

We're so glad that you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for your review, and for explaining that people who adverse to traffic noise shouldn't stay in an Inn located on a busy street, and then review it poorly as a result. We appreciate your feedback, and hope you will come to stay with us again in the near future! More
