We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lamb's Rest Inn. The property is gated, beautifully landscaped and located on a river. There is a hammock in the yard and rocking chairs on the porch giving it a serene, peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed for the weekend in The Grapes Inn Room. The room was very nicely furnished... More

Beautiful and peaceful little inn! We stayed on a weeknight to see the George's rockabilly band play at Gruene hall and we were delighted with our stay. After the owner called us on our way down from Oklahoma to confirm our arrival time and give us specific directions we felt truly welcomed which can sometimes not be the case in... More

The pictures online just don't show the feel of walking through out the grounds. So much to see, hear, and enjoy. This was only the outside. We wanted Lilly Cottage, but was only avaiable for one night so we decide to split our stay through two rooms. The second night was in Mulberry little smaller, but had neat features also.... More

Spent two relaxing nights at this beautiful B&B. We're already planning our next stay! We stayed in the Grapes Inn room and we had the most comfortable bed. I enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the view of the river from the private balcony while my husband fished. We also got the chance to enjoy the pool after we got done floating... More

My husband and I weren't sure what to expect at our first B&B, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The driveway is gated & the grounds are nicely landscaped. We stayed in Peggotty's Seaside room, it is spacious and has it's own bathroom. Not knowing what to expect I was surprised to see a Keurig coffee maker in... More

Spent three nights and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the Inn. The grounds are beautiful, breakfast divine, comfort of room exceeded my expectations. Hosts have created a haven and are truly hospitable while still allowing guests to feel at home in the place. I highly recommend the Inn.

Very nice B&B on the Comal River in New Braunfels, Texas about 1 and 1/2 miles from historic Gruene, TX. Clean rooms, friendly owner, relaxing atmosphere and excellent breakfast. We stayed two nights and were pleased with the location and the service. Not exceptional but certainly worthy of a stay!

This is a peaceful haven in the midst of a lot of activity (it is located between Austin and San Antonio in a bustling community). The Inn is actually outside of Gruene, a few miles from New Braunfels. This is not a bad thing. It overlooks the Guadalupe River, and the grounds are tastefully landscaped. It is a very comfortable... More

Being a first timer at a bed and breakfast I think I got spoiled. This place is amazing. I hope to go back there again next time with my hubby. I went as a girls long weekend get away which was so relaxing exactly what I needed. I found out while staying there it was on the market which is... More

We stayed here for two nights in late December. It was freezing cold outside and there was a lovely fireplace in the common area - but it was only lit the last day we were there. It would have been nice to come back to a fire after being out in the cold. Paradoxically, our room was quite warm, and... More
