We opted for the 4 hour tubing trip instead of the 2 hour trip. They took us by bus and dropped us off 15 minutes from their location and it took 3 1/2 hours to float back. We were able to purchase a water camera from their gift shop and saved our phones from the possibility of an accident. Be... More

Plus features: Most RV sites have big shade trees; RV pad was crushed rock and mostly level; had overhanging limbs and staff member came immediately to trim (thank you Corey); very close to the Guadalupe River - cliff and water beautiful; this resort is at the beginning of River Road and is not hemmed in by other parks; River Road... We just finished our annual New Year's trip to Rio Raft. This was our 8th year in a row. We love the place, the location and just about everything about the place. It's a beautiful and quite place to go and get away from it all. Be sure your own cooking stuff and have a great time in the peace... More

Riverfront on the Guadalupe is a premium. Little prefab cabins. Simple, minimal. Rates vary depending on the time of year. Nice people and great riverfront spot. Chilling casual river time. Here to fly fish in the Trout Trophy region. Busy in summer with river rats having a great loud time. Winter is a low key time of year.

I absolutely loved this place and can't wait to go back. We stayed in our RV, so I don't know anything about the cabins. However, I can say if they keep them up like the rest of the park, then they'll be fine. Now, they're nothing fancy. This is the river!! You shouldn't expect fancy. The staff was very nice... More

We just got back from a 4 night stay here and was impressed. I've read several reviews concerning rude camp hosts/ownership but I have to say, that's the way they're running this place. If you're looking for a 'party spot' where you can party loud, carouse to all hours, or generally act the fool, then this isn't your place. If... More

Location is convenient. Price is reasonable. Quick service. No wait. Clean with good customer service. Tip: trip length pendant number in group and number of drinks consumed. Also ask about river height. Its nice after several days of rain.

The location is perfect, just the right amount of wilderness with nearby city conveniences. The river access is easy to get to (I am disabled). the place was quiet, and we enjoyed our neighbors. The only thing that would make it better would be if the on-site store stayed open later.

Stayed with my husband there a couple of weekends ago. Headed back tomorrow. I love the laid back feel of the place. It's nice to get away and relax for the weekend. It seems to be a well kept and safe place if you have a travel trailer also. Headed back tomorrow :)

We have gone 2 yrs in a row and are planning a 3rd. We love that it has easy access to the river and very relaxing since we go before summer vacations begin. The cabins are not that great but ok since we usually just go for the minimum stay. Just wish the 2 bedroom cabin had 2 bathrooms and... More
