Our room was great - we stayed in the old park. We really appreciated the ability to have the extra hour in the morning to play. I do wish a kiddie area was made available at 8 or 9am too (like the pirate ship over in Blastenoff). The room was clean, and had everything we needed. We've made 2-3 days... More

Me and 2 teenage boys stayed in the one-bedroom cottage along the river in the old park, the Resort. This is like being in a quiet little neighborhood, very safe and comfortable. My kids used the heated pool close by and it was nice these are open late. The outdoor movies are great. Our cabin came fully loaded with kitchen... More

We stayed at Wasser Haus for one night. It is located just across the street from Blastenhof, so the location could not have been better. We spent the first day at the old park, and left Wasser Haus at 0830 the next day to have early entry into Blastenhof. It was only a 1 minute drive into the parking lot... More

Yes, staying at Schlitterbahn is expensive BUT we've been coming to Schlitterbahn a number of times with multiple friends and family AND it is a great time had by all! It's worth staying onsite for the extra hours you have access to the park. Henry Haus (Westside). When the kids were young, we staying in the original owner's home, the... More

Dear Melinda213, Thank you for your review. I love how you have profiled so many sections of the resort and their connection to the park. It's pretty easy to see you are a seasoned pro, and you are definitely feeling the #bahnlove!!! I do have some great news on the hotel rooms at the original resort!! This past offseason we... More

Staying at the resort is an excellent idea. I would recommend spending the extra money to stay somewhere besides the wausser haus lodge. Parking is very limited and not designed for a super duty truck. Also, you can hear EVERYTHING that your "neighbors" upstairs do. The noise alone made the stay unpleasant. I really wish that we had spent the... More

Dear Txnurse0527, Thank you for your review. I'm am very sorry for the experience at the funnel cake location - it's something that we'll be looking further into. Your communication regarding speaking to the staff about the situation will also be followed up on to insure the information was delivered properly. The Wasser Lodge is a great location with prime... We recently spent 4 days 3 nights here. it is a great value using the stay and play package. We rented the 2 bedroom with kitchen. you get an hour before the park opens and an hour after the park closes to play in the water park. it is a very peaceful place with great landscaping and nature. lots of... Dear Barbie K, Thank you for your review. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your time at the resort. I feel like our location along the river is one of the many things that separates us from other locations; there is definitely opportunity to reconnect with nature!! Thank you for sharing your experience - we hope to see you again.... More

What an absolutely amazing team. I cannot believe the wonderful and thoughtful care that went on behind the scenes to ensure we had an amazing adventure at Schlitterbahn for our Daughter’s Sweet 16. Their Director of Hotel Lodging is a gem and did not miss a beat. We stayed in the Rock Haus which is adorable and located just across... More

Dear nmvanbramer, Thank you for your review. Sweet 16's only come once, so you only get one chance to get it right!! We're so very happy you decided to spend it with us. The Rock Haus is one-of-a-kind, and nevermind the fact that you are literally steps away from the Main Entrance of the World's Best Waterpark - SCORE!!! ...and... More

We booked with the Resort at Schlitterbahn just 3 days before our arrival date. We had originally booked with another local hotel, because I thought the resort's prices were expensive. That was until I realized the room price INCLUDED passes for your day of arrival AND your day of departure. That is a heck of a deal. Having no experience... More

Dear Buffy24, Thank you for your review. I love that your review is of the 5 star variety, but am disappointed that you had the mishap with your room codes - I'm very sorry. We have recently coordinated installation to convert this location to our standardized key card system; we anticipate this effort to eliminate any future discrepancies. Your opening... More

This was our first visit and it will not be our last but one of many more to come. My husband and our three kids 19, 16, & 12 had a blast. The staff was fast, friendly, and efficient. The value was amazing but for sure take a picnic to the park or if you stay at the resort just... More

Dear Margaret Y, Thank you for your review. I couldn't agree more - pack it all in and take it to the park!!! The value when staying at the resort is undeniable; you have to use a lot of fingers and toes to add up all the discounts that resort guests benefit from. It's sounds like you have a great... More

We stayed in the original park in room 150. It is a single story room near the arcade, heated pool and kiddy area. The room itself was pretty small and definitely not modern but it was equipped with a private bedroom, bath and full kitchen. The room is located in the park and easy to get around with little ones.... More

Dear Sabrina L, Thank you for your review. This is how you show and tell Dad how special he is - stay at the resort and go to the waterpark at Schlitterbahn!!! Wow, what a lucky guy!!! Room 150 rests in what we call the East Wing; this location, as you know, provides just about the most "in-the-park" access when... More
