We really enjoyed our stay with our grown children and one of our sons wife & daughter. Plenty of room for everyone. Just a short walk to Schlitterbahn, and the oldest bakery in Texas. One night we grilled hamburgers on the patio, they supply everything you need to cook with all you need is the food. The only complaint we... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Comal Inn this weekend in the Juniper Room and it was perfect! The housekeeper, Johnnie, was amazing upon our arrival and I'm glad we caught her before our departure as well. She is so pleasant, that that alone would make us return. The room itself was great though. It was very private with... More

This was the perfect spot for our little family. We stayed in the Cypress room. The cabin was very clean and the service was so friendly. It is not facing the main road so it is peaceful and private it was just so beautiful. It rained while we were there and the covered porch was the perfect place to just... More

We had a room in the back of the property with a nice view on...cars and you hear the next bigger street when you sit on the rather shabby porch. The room and the beds were nice. Here and there you found sticky places everywhere. Even the hairdryer was sticky. My Kids found a dead roach beside their bed. The... More

So sorry for this unsatisfactory experience. We have high standards for cleanliness, which apparently we did not meet for your stay. I will have Joni, "deep clean" the room before our next check in. As far as the noisy guests, we have a zero tolerance for rowdy behavior at our quite, quaint Inn. We respect the rights of our guests... More

My husband and I have been coming here for years!! We don't live far away, this is just a great road trip for some peace and quiet, and that is what we get. The street is quiet, the neighbors respectful and it's safe. From reading some of the negative reviews, it appears to me numerous issues have been fixed. We... More

Just stayed there. Looking at the sign out in front one can understand the inside of the units. The sign is falling apart and needs attention. That's the way the inside is. Small things but still shows that the place is on cruise control. Lights don't work, shower stopped working, no tissue or paper towels, dirty ceilings and ac return... More

Thank you for this "tough love" review. While I could have fixed several of the things during your stay, you pointed out other things that need longer term attention. Many things were fixed on the day you left, e.g. TV, shower, lights, paper towels, etc. Over the past months, we have worked hard at returning our Inn to a "good... More

We rented the Texas Cottage this past weekend for family celebration. The cottage has two bedrooms, both with king beds and each bedroom has its own en-suite bath (one has a tub and shower, one just a shower). There is a sitting area and a fully equipped kitchen as well. Another family member rented the Mountain Laurel room, which we... More

We wanted an overnight in the New Braunfels area and checked out several places. I have stayed at some of the B & B's in the area and knew what my husband would want. He just wants his privacy, the internet, a hot shower, and a great cup of coffee! We always go out for breakfast so he is not... More

I was pleasantly suprised with this sweet bed and breakfast. The location was within walking distance to the square, farmers market and the river. It was close enough that the tube places would provide transportation. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the house was decorated very sweet. The king size bed was awesome but the other beds were pretty rough.... More
