The Christmas decorations were to die for not only did it look like Christmas but it smelled like Christmas, the staff are always so friendly and eager to please..you can tell they take great pride in what they do and how they treat their guest. We really enjoyed our stay in Gruene, Texas. The B&B has a wonderful view. However, the breakfast was very mediocre plus the whole place was in need of a thorough cleaning. There was grime in the corners of the breakfast room and the floors in the main lobby were sticky. I am not talking about the discoloration of the wooden... more

Very pleasing stay! If you like the rustic qualities of a bed and breakfast mixed with the amenities of a hotel, this is the place for you! Bed linens are a little dated, but add to the rustic decor. more

My boyfriend and I came for the night to see a concert in Gruene. I would say it is within walking distance of downtown Gruene but we drove every time. We were only able to stay one night on our way back home to Florida from Arizona and wish we had more time to spend. We came to Gruene last year. Though we also enjoyed that stay, this hotel was more affordable and even had a view, jacuzzi tub and fireplace in the room! Thanx for a great mini-getaway. more

Where do I start? To say that this place was a dissapointment would be an understatement. We received a nights' stay for our wedding and decided to try the place out. This is a place you have to stay in to believe! Totally geared toward the guests-from the homey bedrooms with fireplaces and fabulous views to the Great Room, where any kind of "goodie" anyone could want was graciously provided-for free. The breakfast tacos and waffles were awesome...The innkeepers are wonderful. I just can't say enough-I didn't want to leave!! more
