We must say, our room was very clean and fresh. The owner was very friendly and even called us to be sure we were happy with our room. I feel like when we look for a place to simply sleep while traveling, picking a reasonable motel is a crap shoot. You can't count on any chain to give consistent results.... More

A little on the outside of town and out of the way but always make us feel comfortable. Welcome to bring my dogs with me at no extra charge. Smoking rooms are separated from non smoking rooms. This time was traveling with a UHaul trailer and used the truck parking lot at night and felt it was safe with the... More

My sister, 10 yr old niece and i spent 2 fun filled days here August 5-6. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean room. Clean and crisp bedding and super comfortable beds. They allowed our 2 doggies and the pool was clean and refreshing! Quiet rooms. Was easy to get a handicapped room. Can't recommend these guys enough! Also, great... More

This is the oldest and saddest La Quinta I have ever stayed at. Really worn out. Over priced for what is available in the area. Find somewhere else. There are many newer and less worn out places nearby.

Very Clean, great staff who try everything to make you comfortable. Have stayed 3 times in 7/2014 and will make this my stop on way to Houston from here. BTW, This is CORPORATE-owned which makes a big difference-employees have rules and work hard, unlike across the street : Indian-owned, smell curry thruout hotel (I personally like curry) but, nasty carpet,... This hotel has extremely friendly staff and is convenient to Stephen F. Austin University. We booked the king suite and it is awesome. Excellent value and we used the AAA rate. It was nice to stretch out in the living room, and it was very quiet in the bedroom. We would book this hotel again.

Update my older reviews since many Hotels change. This is still a great motel and super value, especially if you get any discount for AAA, seniors or corp. Staff is on par with any I have met in the business, Always clean. Older motel with exterior doors, but very well maintained and actually cleaner than motels I've stayed in half... More

My family and I just returned from a trip to visit relatives in Nacogdoches, and I cannot say enough about our stay at Laquinta. We were there 4 days, 4 of us plus 2 dogs. We were unable to get a suite the first 2 nights, but did the last 2 nights. The transition went great with no headaches. Clinton... More

We frequently drive up to the Nacogdoches area, as we just bought property and moved our cattle up there. We like La Quinta, as their rooms are clean, quiet, and they allow dogs. This is our go-to hotel whenever we travel up in northeast Texas. The quality of this hotel chain is very consistent.

The facility was very clean and well maintained. The service was extremely fast and efficient. My stay was brief, but the experience was a good one. I was offered a complimentary breakfast, but was unable to enjoy it as I had to leave early. The location is convenient as it is right off the main highway. It is close to... More
