I don’t even know where to begin…we had such a fantastic time at Elm Creek, which doesn’t even include the fact that the property provided the perfect backdrop for a marriage proposal! That was just the icing on the cake! We felt like we were in a sort of fairy tale staying in one of the cozy, little cabins which... More

We visited the Elm Creek Manor for our Anniversary, and we were there for the mandatory 5 course dinner on Saturday night. (Once a month they do the 5 course dinner). On all counts, our visit was a relaxing, enjoyable experience. We only stayed for one night, so we were not able to choose the room we wanted (with a... More

My husband and I had a fantastic time and we are planning our return. It was quiet and relaxing, very country but with a subtle sophistication that even the most jaded urbanite will find hard to beat. The food was over the top amazing! The attention to detail from the tour to a plate of homemade goodies left in our... More

We just let from our 3rd visit to Elm Creek Manor. I love everything about this place! Their attention to detail is most impressive. Upon check-in, we were offered a glass of wine and presented with our itinerary for the weekend. Social hour in the library followed shortly with a nice selection of homemade goat cheeses and beverages. We opted... More

Girl's Getaway Gone Right said it all! My best friend and I needed a getaway from our harried pace so we chose the Provence Suite at the Elm Creek Manor. I took the daybed and she took the queen-sized bed. Boy was it a wonderful and relaxing getaway. Don't forget your swimsuit so you can use the hot tub and... More

I love love love this place! Far enough away to be quiet and relaxing yet very easy to get here and back. Beautiful property. Fantastic food!!! Wine and cheese in the library every day. Fruit and drinks delivered to the pool !! The massage therapist (Robert ) was divine. He loosened up some seriously stiff muscles that haven't behaved appropriately... More

We stay in B&Bs all over the world. This one was in the top sphere overall. The location is great if you are going to get away from it all but not ideal if you are looking to couple it with side trips of any substance to Ft. Worth or Dallas. We were greeted by Juan, a tireless employee who... More

We stayed at Elm Creek in late April for our annual girls’ getaway. Our group was made up 7 “hurried-moms” who just needed to get away. We found this lovely destination through the magic of Google and it really fit the bill. Marcia and Brad were wonderful hosts! You must make the time to hear the story of how they... More

This place exceeded our expectations. The grounds are immaculate, and the food (from "farm to table") is the most purely organic preparation I've ever had, and certainly a culinary experience that was delightful---comparable to 5 Star restaurants. If you like sustainability, and true organic farming, you will not only be fulfilled, but impressed. The massage therapists were top notch, and... More
