This was our third visit to this B&B (the first two were 20 years ago). We love the charm of Mineola and this house. One thing that kept bringing us back was the former inn keepers, Bob & Sherry. New inn keepers, Brett & Ashley are doing a great job of being warm and inviting hosts that make a stay... More

My husband and I stayed there on our wedding night. They offered to leave our room unlocked so we didn't have to come checkin, we thought that was great. When we arrived at 11:20pm it was so dark we couldn't figure out where to park. There was just a small wooden sign close to the road and I had to... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Munzesheimer Manor in Mineola. (We chose the “Perry” room and it was delightful) Bret and Ashlee are a lovely couple and devoted hosts. Their attention to details and engaging personality exceeded our expectations. We loved the décor throughout the house. Ashlee’s personable approach is endearing and unlike a stay at... More

Daniel S, I love your statement, "bask in old world charm!" This is the goal when I decorate, to take you somewhere old, vintage, authentic and charming! I am so happy it is working. Bret and I have much more to do in terms of atmosphere, however just knowing we are making an impression already is music to our ears.... More

Ashlee & Bret were friendly and great hosts. The room was comfortable and did not disappoint. The bonus nighttime treat was yummy. Pricing was close to the best western motel price. Why would anyone choose generic when you could support someone hometown.

We traveled to Mineola for Memorial Day weekend. The owners were so nice and personable. Their dogs were fun and sweet too. We had no complaints about the place. The breakfasts were fantastic. The coffee also was amazing, enough so that we bought a pound. The company at breakfast was also good. We definitely recommend the Munzenheimer to everyone. The... More

I have just attended a baby shower for my daughter at Munzesheimer Manor and it was nothing short of PERFECT! The home is lovely and most tastefully decorated. The pleasant, 'can do' attitudes of Ashlee and Bret made the event run super smoothly. They truly have the gift of hospitality!!! There were approximately 17 ladies in attendance and there was... We love to find unique, historical yet comfy bed and breakfasts ... and the Munzesheimer Manor is just that!! The new owners, Ashlee & Bret, have done a wonderful job preserving yet updating the Manor -back to one of the "GREAT DAMES" of Texas. Your stay will be extremely comfortable in the new beds and luxurious linens while being surrounded... More

Very clean and close to the town square. Bret and Ashlee are awesome! Will be back soon. We also enjoyed the town and all the great antique shops. Thank you both for your great work and all of the home cooked food that we enjoyed every morning.

Property has a lot of character. The hosts, Bret & Ashlee, are working hard to bring the B&B back to it's glory. Wonderful place to stay, relax, walk to downtown shops while still feeling secluded and homey. Outstanding Breakfeast - you can't get any better anywhere in the world. Totally recommend staying and would stay again when I'm back in... More

Made us feel welcome and made an amazing breakfast. The cottages are a great place to stay! We loved and will be back. Thanks for everything!!
