Hosts were awesome and very friendly! The personalized service was great. Enjoyed meeting the dogs and baby boy. Lovely home. We actually stayed in a cottage. .. it was quite cozy. Really enjoyed our visit. Would love to go back in the future!

My friend and I asked our husbands to come up with a plane for New Years. They found the Munzesheimer Manor and booked a night for us One couple stayed in the house and the other in the "Tack Room". The house was AWESOME! Brett and Ashlee were so warm and inviting and showed us around the house. Ashlee brought... More

My mom and I have the tradition of celebrating our christmas at a different B&B every year. This year we chose Munzesheimer and what a great pick! It's only 2 hours east of the DFW area and the town of Mineola had plenty of things to occupy us for the weekend! My mom and I stayed in the Tack Cottage... More

Where to start with this wonderful bed and breakfast? This was the perfect venue for a small wedding (20 or fewer people) if you are looking for something elegant yet comfortable. Ashlee truly wants to pamper her guests and is a fantastic hostess and just all around nice person. Bret is an amazing cook; his breakfasts are a highlight of... More

Donny V, I couldn't have asked for a sweeter, more elegant and thoughtful bride! Your family reminded us of why we love to host weddings; there was love in the air and a lighthearted joy that filled the home. We are so incredibly happy we fulfilled your special moment and you and your new husband will have a special place... More

My 3 girlfriends and I stayed at the Munzesheimer this past weekend. We had a wonderful time and all accommodations were perfect. We were in the Blasingame and Perry rooms upstairs in the main house. We shopped at "First Monday Trade Days" in Canton during the day and enjoyed girl time on the porch in the evening. It is only... More

This was our first time to stay at Munzesheimer and in Mineola. Super unique experience. Ashlee and Bret (and Lincoln) are very accommodating to anything we needed. We will stay here again many times.

I have been twice now, once with my husband (very romantic!) and once by myself (sweet get away!). It is a lovely place (the website description is accurate but can't quite capture the incredible sense of peace I had being there). I stayed in the Tack Cottage with my husband and the Conductor on my second visit. Both rooms are... More

This was our third visit to this B&B (the first two were 20 years ago). We love the charm of Mineola and this house. One thing that kept bringing us back was the former inn keepers, Bob & Sherry. New inn keepers, Brett & Ashley are doing a great job of being warm and inviting hosts that make a stay... More

My husband and I stayed there on our wedding night. They offered to leave our room unlocked so we didn't have to come checkin, we thought that was great. When we arrived at 11:20pm it was so dark we couldn't figure out where to park. There was just a small wooden sign close to the road and I had to... More

Amberkburt, Bret and I are sincerely sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. Since your visit, we have discussed many of the aspects of your stay which you found dissatisfactory and due to my absence the weekend of your stay, my husband (the long haired guy) is the only one who can account for what happened on our end.... My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Munzesheimer Manor in Mineola. (We chose the “Perry” room and it was delightful) Bret and Ashlee are a lovely couple and devoted hosts. Their attention to details and engaging personality exceeded our expectations. We loved the décor throughout the house. Ashlee’s personable approach is endearing and unlike a stay at... More

Daniel S, I love your statement, "bask in old world charm!" This is the goal when I decorate, to take you somewhere old, vintage, authentic and charming! I am so happy it is working. Bret and I have much more to do in terms of atmosphere, however just knowing we are making an impression already is music to our ears.... More
