We are La Quinta fans as they are usually reasonably priced, clean, well-appointed, and the staff are friendly. Having said that, anything in the Permian Basin seems to be ridiculously over-priced and light on the cleanliness. This LaQuinta was only slightly over-priced but looks like it could use some serious maintenance, especially outside. The walkways were messy, the pool very... More

There is dirt and leaves in the room as you walk in. Also bathtub looks like it hasn't been clean for a year. Terrible soap scum. The pool was very nasty as well. It looked it hasn't been cleaned for over a year.

This is one of the better Midland / Odessa area LQs at a moderate price for the area. It is near the railroad track, but not really that noisy. It takes the standard heavy wear and tear from the oilfield roughnecks that tend to most populate the Permian, but the staff does an admirable job keeping it in decent order.... More

Stayed there for 2 hours and found bed bugs. Had to leave right away. Person at front desk did not have any idea what bed bugs were. Place looked ran down and doors propped open and people were hanging their laundry all over the hand rails to dry.

I agree fully with the other reviews I have read about this motel. It is not well cared-for at all, inside or out. I found hair in the shower, stains on the carpet and chairs, crumbling cement, rust, etc. It has exterior entrances to each room, which I really don't mind since we could park right in front of our... We are relocating from Dallas, Texas to Surprise, AZ with three cats and needed a pet friendly hotel. Fit the bill perfectly. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was continental with great coffee. No way for our cats to get under the bed or behind furniture which was a huge plus!! Only issues with hotel... More

Hotel was typical of a La Quinta. Nice, comfortable and good service with a good location. But as with most of the hotels in Midland, ridiculously over priced. Older La Quinta hotel with outside opening rooms, but in good condition.

Dirty carpets, hard water stains in shower, terribly loud fridge, lumpy mattress, tiny pillows. There is nothing positive. Just gross. There are no restaurants nearby. The towels are tiny. I am a bit afraid to touch anything. The channel selection on the TV blows.

This La Quinta does not live up to the usually good reputation of the LQ brand. Though the desk clerk was friendly and accommodating the room left lots to be desired. The sealant around the tub had obviously been applied by someone used to working with precision tools like a shovel. The walls around the room door were dirty like... More

I have stayed here a lot in the past, when ever there has been a issue with a room they will go ahead and move me. Well when I told the staff that the cold water in the shower wouldn't turn off and the tub isn't draining all they told me is we will check into it.. So expecting the... More
