We stayed with Colin and Kathleen for several nights at the beginning of October. The welcome was second to none, we loved the large bedroom and the breakfast was excellent. There was a big choice and lots of home made extras including pancakes and orange curd! They are well organised with lots of useful information and good stories and fun.... More

We stayed two nights in the spacious room #3 (20m2) with bathroom 10 m2. A very quiet place with wide views over the Loch. It turned out that it does not make too much difference where you stay on Sky island when you want to do several walks and tour the island by car, so this place was an excellent... More

Stayed her 2 nights in late September 2014 and really enjoyed the place. Kathleen is one of those people who you warm up to right off. Colin was the cook and made pancakes with a Lemon Curd sauce that my wife loved, and she is a foodie. I had eggs with smoked salmon that was great. Kathleen had suggestions for... More

We have just returned from our third stay at this lovely Guest house. Your experience starts before you get into the house as the views of the loch and surrounding scenery are spectacular. We were welcomed by Kathleen and Colin who are perfect hosts. They have warm welcoming personalities, both have a great sense of humour and are very concerned... More

The B&B is placed in the country near a lake, it's so beautiful. The breakfast are great and tasty and, above other issue in the B&B, Colin and Kathleen are extremely nice and helpful, so the stay with them is perfect. I would come back undoubtely.

Great address to stay, very calm and relaxing place. Absolutely lovely view from the room on the loch, nice small garden. Beautiful rooms. The breakfast is an unforgettable moment: very nice presentation of the table, only fresh ingredients and huge choice of different meals: the toasts with the homemade bread&jams&delicious homemade yogurt, fantastic pancakes, real english breakfast, etc.........The portion were... We've just spent our first ever holiday in the Highlands and Islands, and Skye was part of the itinerary. We made an inspired choice with Ashaig. Colin and Kathleen are warm-hearted, witty and highly experienced guesthouse proprietors. Their house is modern, spacious, and bedecked with tasteful pictures and artefacts to please the eye. And staring out of one of the... More

We stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast end of May for two nights and can thoroughly recommend it,the location is beautiful with views over the loch. The hosts Kathleen and Colin most welcoming and their attention to detail, even down to booklet made up by Colin that you can take out on drive around the island very useful indeed.... More

A great place to stay at the Isle of Skye. Kathleen and Colin are great hosts and made us feel welcome right from the start. We've been there for the second time, what says it all. And we will be back at our next visit in Scotland. Thanks for the little talks at the breakfast table and for all the... More

We stay at Ashaig 4 nights, and it was unforgettable. First of all, the view to loch Greshornish is beautiful. The place is very clean, and they have everything. When we arrive we received tea and tasty cakes served in a lovely service. Colin and Kathleen are very pleasant and friendly. It's a lovely place, and we had a special... More
