This was the second time we had stayed in this luxurious apartment a fact which speaks for itself. The hosts are welcoming and friendly but not at all intrusive. You are able to come and go as you please yet you know they are on hand if you have any queries. There is a good sized car park on the... more

Shorefield House is in Edinbane, which is ideally situated to explore the west and north of Skye, although it's not too far to cover the whole island from this single base. The self-catering accomodation consists of two large, en-suite double bedrooms (with showers rather than baths - possible the only drawback if you want a good soak after a day... more

From booking to leaving we can't fault this marvellous, family run B & B with all hands on deck.. A great welcome to a wonderfully comfortable room. Everything was spotlessly clean. Little extras made a good impression e.g. CD player with CDs in room and also DVDs to play. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic with local kippers, and smoked haddock... more

We stayed here for two nights during an impromptu trip to Skye. A warm welcome, a very large room (although this was a room specifically furbished for disabled access) and as good a breakfast as we have had anywhere, contributed to an experience which we will repeat at some point. The accommodation was immaculate, the bed very large and comfortable... more

We have travelled all over the world for 50 years with a wheelchair and this was the best. They even provide a padded shower chair with a gap in the middle so you can wash where you sit! Peter and Hilary are friendly the breakfast was great and the room was lovely. We thoroughly recommend this B&B. more

I was on a 3 day working visit to Skye and stayed at Shorefield for 2 nights. Everything from arrival to departure was faultless. The breakfast in particular was exceptional - easily the best I have experienced anywhere in Scotland. Thoroughly recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful island. more

I visited Shorefield House by myself a week in Summer and a week in Autumn of 2008. I really wanted my family to enjoy what I enjoyed and sure enough we all enjoyed this time (Spring). We miss this lovely place after staying there for 1 week. We look forward to coming here again for a week or two. Splendid. more

We spent two nights at Shorefield with our two children. The breakfasts were fabulous and set us up for the day sightseeing. Shorefield is located in a perfect position for exploring the Dunvegan area and north of the island. After a long day out it was a very comfrotable place to come "home" to. The accomodation is spacious, modern and... more

I stayed at Shorefield House during a visit to Skye in June and found the accommodation to be excellent and the hospitality offered by Hilary and Peter thoroughly refreshing. The room was clean, tidy, and private and there seemed to be all the facilities - that I needed at least. I have visited Skye a few times and normally stay... more

Our stay at the Shorefield House B & B was a wonderful experience. It was centrally located for our purposes of travel, and it has two pubs nearby - one that serves a good dinner. The family room was roomy, comfortable, and clean for my family of four, and the breakfasts, all cooked to order, were incredible! In addition to... more
