Lovely house, beautful grounds and view of the inlet. SO QUIET. Bunnies on the front lawn were the main source of fun. Room was comfortable. Neil is a lovely host and very intent to insure that we were comfortable. I am not generally the B&B type - I prefer larger, more anonymous hotels. But Skye seems prone to B&Bs. I... More

From the warm welcome, we knew this would be a great place to stay. Set in a wonderful location on the Greshornish peninsula you really do get away from it all. Excellent food - the cheese board is amazing - beautiful rooms and great hosts with Neil & Rosemary Colquhoun really do make your stay at Greshornish a stay to... More

After a 10 hour drive we were very pleased to arrive to a very friendly welcome by Neil, Soay and staff. Large room overlooking the loch with a very good shower and deep bath. Comfortable lounges with open fires to have a drink before dinner with lots of interesting pictures and books. Snooker if you like that kind of thing.... More

This is the most amazing place! Relaxing, quiet, a great escape retreat. Breakfast was really good and we were sorry to have missed the table d'hote dinner. Owners tremendously helpful with travel advice, thanks to which we discovered other great places!

Do not be put off by the drive down the two and a half mile single track road to get to Greshornish House Hotel. The Hotel is set in beautiful gardens looking over the Loch. The building itself is elegant, and beautifully furnished. The owners made us very welcome, and were ably supported by the delightful Carlos who kindly carried... More

A handsome building in a really lovely place. Our room was large, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Neil Colquhoun was most welcoming, friendly and helpful, and has an excellent selection of whisky at the bar. Thoroughly recommended.

We arrived on a nearly flat tire, and deflated hopes for our plans on Skye. The owner, Neil, took on our problem as if it were his own. He battled the rental company, located a tire, and managed a tow. Meanwhile, he arranged tea for us so we could relax, even though this was outside the tea hours. He also... More

Over the recent Easter break, I and two female friends were seeking an isolated country getaway for relaxation and comfort - to get away from the City and immerse ourselves in a slower pace, nature and great food and wine. Greshornish House we found exactly that. Here guests are treated to a beautifully cared for country property, surrounded by rolling... More

Greshornish is a superb country house hotel. It sits in a beautifully scenic location which is complemented by the friendly staff & excellent facilities. If you want pools, parties and all night bars - you're in the wrong place. If on the other hand, you are looking for stunning scenery in a refined and secluded setting with old world charm... More

This house is in a remote location on the isle of Skye. Beds were exceedingly comfortable, breakfast was fine and location was ideal. Even though it is in a remote location, there is a friendly taxi service on the island which is reliable. A trip for dinner to the Three Chimneys is highly recommended. My scrawny companion read a book... More
