Excellent location matched by the service. We had a wonderful break in comfortable accommodation away from it all, an ideal location to unwind. The walk around the point is really worth it, dolphins seals and many seabirds seen, the otters proved elusive (walking boots necessary). Recommended for a quiet break away from it all. Neil is an excellent host who... More

We stayed at the Greshornish House Hotel while visiting Isle of Skye as a family trip with our parents. The location is a bit isolated but it's very beautiful. The narrow driveway leading to the hotel was by the water and plenty of sheep popping up to keep you company and entertained. When we arrived at night there were lots... More

My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay on the isle of Skye. This guest house is off the beaten path and very remote which makes it quite relaxing and cozy. Very quiet. It was a little bit out of the way from anything that you would want to do on the island but can get to portree in about... More

Great service and brilliant location. Would be an absolutely wonderful house with a little more decorative effort but nonetheless a lovely stay in a charming house. Breakfast was to a good standard. The owner's personal touch made all the difference. Would definitely be back

Greshornish House Hotel is in a lovely quiet location completely off the beaten track in Isle of Skye. The rooms were very comfortable, the food excellent and the surroundings beautiful. There was lots to do and see within an hours radius by car, and lovely walks all around. Highly reccommended!

We stayed with friends for a couple of nights and had a good experience. We had the room "Rum" which was very spacious, comfortable four poster bed. The rooms on the top floor had restricted access to the shower and little hot water. We had dinner one night and it was good. I don't think dinner is available on Monday... More

A small hotel tucked away on the outskirts of Edinbane in the north of Skye not far from Portree. Our room was the Jura which overlooks the sea across the gardens and is delightful. Run by a very welcoming couple and a small staff this small hotel succeeds where many larger hotels fails. Would have been 5 stars were it... More

We stayed at Greshornish House for three nights whilst on Skye. The house is well located, just 20 minutes drive outside Portree and close to Dunvegan Castle and the Waternish and Trotternish peninsulas. The house is located down a 2 mile single track road (be prepared for those on Skye), which at times we found to be a bit tricky... More

I apologize for the delay in writing this review but our vivid memory of Greshornish House is still fresh in our memory!! We were lucky enough to be able to book only one night at the Greshornish House as they usually have a two night minimum. Looking back we should have spend the weekend! We were travelling with our two... More
