This hotel is tucked away in the corner of Skye and pretty remote, so perhaps you need to make some allowances for this. however, my overwhelming impression from this hotel was one of needing just a bit of attention, both in terms of decor and tidying up. This is not a cheap hotel, and as such my expectation & review... More

The surroundings offer peace and tranquility of the highest standard. Everything in this facility is top-notch, from the furnishings to the most wonderful food. Not one single detail has been overlooked. The staff;... More

We stayed for 2 nights this week and had a really lovely, relaxing time. There were special touches like fresh flowers and home-baked shortbread biscuits in our luxurious room and all the staff were helpful and very polite. This beautiful old house is immaculately clean and ticks all the boxes one would expect of a luxury hotel. We've stayed in... More

I found Greshornish House on Trip Advisor and hope others give as much weight to personal reviews as my partner and I did and will continue to do. The House itself is beautifully restored and maintained. The owner Neil has a wealth of information on "what to see's". We were a bit disappointed in the hours for meals, (wanting to... More

I've just realised that I forgot to review Greshornish House after staying there last August. My girlfriend and I stayed for a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very comfortable room, welcoming host and staff. We were looking for a quiet place and just loved the splendid isolation of Greshornish. Previous reviews seem to criticise the style of the... More

I stayed in the Greshornish House Hotel in 2013 with my husband and we were very very astonished by the beauty of the hotel and also around! We just felt like we were dreaming! The staff were really friendly!

Lovely location, overpriced and underwhelming service if you ask for anything that in anyway inconveniences the owners. Stayed 3 nights during which Heating was turned off overnight and only came on about 7.00am (Same pattern every night, so it was more planned than a fault with their system) My request for another 10ml bottle of shampoo was meet with "I... We stayed there three nights. First when we arrived we were a bit shocked because we came from very modern houses into a bit more dark and old house. But this house has it's own spirit/charme, give it some time and you will like it. The rooms are nice, hold in the nice old English style, as well the bathrooms.... More

Stayed here for the first 2 nights of our honeymoon on Skye. Neil was a wonderful host and surprised us with complimentary fizz on our first night! We stayed in the Rum room - the nicest room I've ever stayed in! Dinner was great, as was breakfast. Lovely staff, lovely place. Pricey but worth it!
