A small hotel tucked away on the outskirts of Edinbane in the north of Skye not far from Portree. Our room was the Jura which overlooks the sea across the gardens and is delightful. Run by a very welcoming couple and a small staff this small hotel succeeds where many larger hotels fails. Would have been 5 stars were it... More

We stayed at Greshornish House for three nights whilst on Skye. The house is well located, just 20 minutes drive outside Portree and close to Dunvegan Castle and the Waternish and Trotternish peninsulas. The house is located down a 2 mile single track road (be prepared for those on Skye), which at times we found to be a bit tricky... More

I apologize for the delay in writing this review but our vivid memory of Greshornish House is still fresh in our memory!! We were lucky enough to be able to book only one night at the Greshornish House as they usually have a two night minimum. Looking back we should have spend the weekend! We were travelling with our two... More

We were fortunate to find accommodation last minute at Greshornish house on Isle of Skye during peak season even though it was for one night only! I must admit that it not in close to any shops or restaurants but hey that is why one would rather come to Skye. Right from the reservation process through a phone call in... More

We found this hotel thanks to the help of the staff at the fully booked ones in Portree. Skye in June is almost 100% booked, and we were stuck there as a result of the ferry strike. They fitted three of us in at very short notice, putting an extra bed on our large comfortable room. The Houses was lovely,... More

We just had one night there, but it was a wonderful experience. Beautiful room, four poster bed, marvellous food and the best service you could possibly hope for from Neil, the owner, and his staff. In his notes Neil said that this was their home and they hoped that guests would feel it was theirs too. We absolutely did. It... More

We loved our stay here which had to be extended by a night because of the Cal Mac strike, this was no hardship however, and Neil and Rosemary accommodated us in their gracious and gentle manner. Lovely room with a very comfortable four poster, lots of pristeen white bedding and fluffy white towels. Dinner was very good quality and not... More

My fiancé and I found ourselves without a room for a night after realizing we made an error when we planned our vacation to Skye back in March. However, thanks to Neil's kindness, we were able to book a room last minute at the Greshornish House Hotel. I don't know how I missed this gem when I was first planning... More

Lovely house, beautful grounds and view of the inlet. SO QUIET. Bunnies on the front lawn were the main source of fun. Room was comfortable. Neil is a lovely host and very intent to insure that we were comfortable. I am not generally the B&B type - I prefer larger, more anonymous hotels. But Skye seems prone to B&Bs. I... More
