We have stayed a number of times at Hambleton Hall now and will be back! Everything about the hotel is excellent from the greeting on arrival, via the excellent meal, to breakfast in our room, to departure. Even the view out over Rutland Water which we saw in the snow for the first tiem, beautiful. This is a hotel where... more

Everything was well thought out, the room fantastic, bathroom sublime and the food is amazing. We booked for a night away after a prison visit and you did not disappoint in any way. Although expensive the value was amazing. All your staff deserve a big pat on the back. more

We have stayed at Hambelton 4 times now - usually over the Easter weekend. 3 out of 4 of our stays were excellent, with great food, discrete service and a nice room. However, during one of our stays we had a couple of gripes on our room (Skylark - very noisy, next to kitchen fans) and the service at dinner... more

We spent a long weekend at Hambleton Hall recently. It is a lovely place - first class without being fussy or pretentious. (The advance notes about dress at dinner, etc. worried me just a little that we might find it stuffy but this was not at all the case.) We had only a standard room but it was lovely and,... more

We arranged a celebratory lunch for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We were 9 in total including 3 young children. The food was superb - and this was just their standard weekday lunch not a special menu - and the staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and efficient. Though we were not staying at the hotel, not for a... more

We stayed here just for one night in September. The room (lotus) was large, with a very comfortable bed whci overlooked Rutland Water. There were nice touches, like the directed reading lights as well as the usual side lamps. The shower was excellent. Staff seemed genuinely to care throughout. There are stunning views from the terrace, and a pretty garden.... more

My husband and I returned yesterday 31st Augsut from a 3 night break at Hambleton Hall not the cheapest of places but the situation of the hotel was stunning, the service was second to none (we have stayed in other 4 and 5 star hotels in and around the Country) but none compare with Hambleton. The staff were very professional... more

My husband & I went for our 25th weddding anniversary. The email request was meet with a prompt reply and the room I requested was consequently booked. We arrived on a beautiful sunny day, the Hall looked magnificent - the staff were friendly and efficient. Our room - Fern was everything we'd hoped for (albeit the fire exit is through... more
