My husband & I went for our 25th weddding anniversary. The email request was meet with a prompt reply and the room I requested was consequently booked. We arrived on a beautiful sunny day, the Hall looked magnificent - the staff were friendly and efficient. Our room - Fern was everything we'd hoped for (albeit the fire exit is through... more

We stayed here of just one night in December to meet with Family. What a lovely location and a beatiful place to stay. We arrived a little early but that was not a problem, our room was ready and they said that they had upgraded us. Whatever they did the room was lovely - The Noel Coward Suite. Every need... more

This hotel was booked for me as a surprise, and it was a very pleasant one. I'm not much of a country house hotel connaisseur, having only stayed at Chewton Glen, but I can certainly say that by comparison the overall quality of Hambleton Hall exceeds the price I think we paid. My only real gripe is that it is... more

We recently held our daughters wedding at Hambleton Hall. Everything was excellent, the rooms, the staff, the food. Everybody went out of their way to ensure that the wedding went smoothly. She stayed the night before in the pavillion and the morning of the wedding the staff were always on hand to help in any way that they could. We... more

We took one of the best rooms, since nothing else was available. It was very nice, lovely view, large & of a very good standard, but I thought it was expensive (£375). I would say that the cheaper rooms are a far better bet. The restaurant is very good, but has never been cheap - like many quality provincial restaurants... more

We chose Hambleton because it was the nearest hotel with a Michelin star. The room although the last available was very nice being well decorated and with a very large bathroom. After settling in we decided to have tea in the lounge, which took a little prompting before it finally arrived. However a top-up was offered and was not charged... more

Great location, very pretty part of the country, impressive main house. Met at the car door, with the offer of the car being parked for us. Luggage taken to the room. Wonderful gardens, well kept and looked after. Log fires and calm public rooms. Our room (intermediate) at the front of the house had a great view and looked out... more

My fiance booked a night at this hotel for my birthday and it was an excellent experience. The hotel looks great, the service is very good and the rooms are beautifully decorated and presented. The hotel grounds and gardens provide you with a glimpse of the magnificence of the surrounding countryside and the location is great for easy access to... more

We stayed at Hambleton Hall for three nights during October 2007. Not much to say really except possibly one of the best small hotels you will find in the UK. Just a stroll away from the beautiful Rutland Water. The food is the best I’ve tasted anywhere. Service fantastic. If you want a relaxing, quiet, refined hotel to stay then... more
