We enjoyed a mid-week break here recently, paying the rack rate of £180 per night B&B for a superior room. We thought the room was fairly ordinary (low ceilings and small window on account of being on the 2nd floor), but the bathroom was a good size with a separate roll top bath and large shower. Overall we enjoyed our... More

Wonderful hotel, great service and food well presented. Always wanted to visit the Hall and was not disappointed. Booked a spa treatment for both myself and sister - the facial my sister had was the best she had experienced. All staff attentive and could not do enough to make the stay comfortable. The evening meal was delicious so beautifully presented... More

We were bowled over by the imposing Hall and its lovely grounds. A fascinating history too. We, unlike some of the reviews, found the staff all very friendly and an especial mention of Josie on the reception desk. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival, she carried our bags for us and then came back with fresh milk... More

My aunt and I stayed in Dovecote room which had a lovely vaulted ceiling and was conveniently located next to the spa. Our spa treatments were great. Lunch in spa cafe was average - they are constantly running out of things! Breakfast was tasty and well cooked. Dinner was a problem for us - we didn't wish to spend £55pp... More

The property itself is beautiful, but my oh my, the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel that purports to be high class. Non-existent service, ghastly food, bad attitude from virtually all of the staff. Seriously over-priced restaurant that neglects to mention minimum £55 per head for dinner, plus wine. Lunch served only from 1-2pm. Room was very... More

Had a lovely stay at Rushton Hall Hotel, rooms felt comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was an absolute delight. Lovely staff and had a great stay. Was only dissapointed as the steam room was fairly small and was out of order during out stay. There was no sauna which was again a disappointment! The outdoor jacuzzi was a treat and was... More

We have stayed at Rushton Hall many times. The food is excellent and the rooms are fabulous. Tyrone the restaurant manager is very knowledgeable and always helps us pick superb wines to accompany our meal. The staff are very friendly and provide high class service. I highly recommend this fabulous hotel to anyone looking for top quality accommodation and service.

I had looked forward to this 'experience' for months and expected a luxury experience. I have had Afternoon Tea in several places and I must say this was the poorest. I would have expected the teacup, saucer and plate to be fine china but no - plain white mug type cup and saucer with an ordinary thick side plate. The... More
