We stayed at Rushton Hall with friends who were visiting the UK from overseas. We had a brilliant time with comfortable rooms and very attentive staff. We shall certainly recommend this hotel to others and hope to return ourselves before too long.

This place is full of history and is like going back in time. Its like going to a "Grand" National Trust or English Heritage stately home. The Bedrooms are first rate, the staff could not be more helpful. The food excellent, prices reasonable for the surroundings, you could spend days here and find something to see do or paint.

I'm quite shocked at the few negative reviews I have seen on here. I think these people need to stop being so greedy and making the main issue that you only get 1 sausage and 1 egg. Personally and I'm sure the majority of the population would agree that this would be enough considering that you get 2 bacon and... More

My third visit here was even more impressive than previous stays. So much so that we have booked our Christmas break. This last visit held a surprise in the form of a yoga class; delightful as totally unexpected. The tiny gym was extremely well equipped and again a surprise to find it so under utilised. We find the restaurant comparable... More

We stayed here on a voucher deal and decided to have lunch too! We were running a little late, and when I called to inform that we would be approx 15 minutes late, I initially received a surly response from the receptionist. On arrival, however, the restaurant manager was very welcoming and we were eventually seated without too much fuss.... More

My husband and I came here on 26 July for a belated wedding anniversary. From the moment I saw Rushton Hall I was smitten. It is a stunning piece of architecture set in beautiful grounds. The staff member at the door (Tom??) immediately came over to our car to welcome us and ask if we needed help with our luggage.... More

Stayed over for a family wedding. Beautiful wedding reception and staff were curtious. However the morning after, the breakfast was a mare. Not enough staff, one person serving the hot food and we were only allowed one sausage and egg which i gave up waiting for, no juice or pastries as they had run out. Got to say for the... More

The answer is no now what's the question- sums this place up. Dated and tired rooms, extremely overpriced. £5 for a nice bucket in the room!!! (With no ice). The most awful service and lack of attention to detail. Untrained staff who don't have a clue what they're supposed to be doing. Steer well clear of a distinctly poor experience... More

My husband and I with our 2 children (9 & 6) stayed here on 26th July as part of a large wedding party. The hotel was very busy with lots of people arriving (2 wedding parties plus spa quests). My husband arrived before me and had managed to already check in. Thankfully!! The reception was a small room at the... More
