This was the second time we had stayed at the mare nostrum resort. I have to say that our second visit was even better than the first. The staff were much friendlier and the service was excellent. The surrounding area has a great selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. Hope to go again soon. more

I booked this hotel through Alpha Rooms, from the United States and couldn’t have been happier! I was originally booked in a different hotel, and due to reviews on this site I switched at the last minute. When I confirmed my reservation, it said Marco Antonio/Julio Cesar… so I wasn’t sure where I would be staying when I arrived. As... more

Booked this holiday through Travel Republic and all went well. We were to stay in the Med Palace but were moved to this part of the complex when I went to ask how long the noisy drilling of concrete under the balcony would go on for. I was taken over to the Marco Antonio to see the room first and... more

I stayed here with my wife and 11 year old daughter for 7 nights. I am not a fan of the Star ratings given for European resort hotels but I suppose you have to start somewhere ! This is a top class complex and certainly deserves 4 stars, the staff where extremely helpful and cheerful, it never felt like a... more

We have just returned from two weeks here and while I do agree that it is not 5 star in comparison with most 5 stars ,I have to say we didn't pay 5 star prices for our two weeks, in fact we paid more for 5 nights in Le palais in Prague,so I don,t think it's a fair comparison. The... more

Considering that this hotel is rated 5 stars, there is a certain standard you do expect. Rate it with 4 stars, and still this hotel does not even come close to what a 4 star hotel should be!!! Expectations are formed from previous reviews, and ratings made on the hotel by travel opearators. This hotel I would at best rate... more

Stayed for 5 nights from 9th - 14th December 2007 after having booked the hotel separately through Travel Republic website. Had a room on the first floor with a view over the pool. The Hotel is lovely and clean but as it makes up part of a complex, there really is no entertainment of any sort in this part of... more
