We have just returned from a two week stay at the vulcano. the main problem with this hotel is the lack of shaded areas around the pool, temperatures reached the low 40s last week there was no where to get out of the sun, the silly slatted canopies are useless unless you want to look like a zebra at the... more

We have just got back from 2 weeks staying at Hotel Vulcano, i'm 21 and my boyfriend is 24 I would just like to say that this hotel is not just for the over 60's. We were looking for a nice relaxing holiday and we were recommended this hotel. There were several other young couples there as well. We felt... more

This was my fifth visit since 2000 to this superb hotel and have booked to return in October. I am a disabled person confined to a wheelchair, accompanied by my friend. Our room was on the ground floor and had a wheel in shower. It was spotlessly clean, towels changed daily and bedding 2/3 times each week. There are two... more

Although previous reviews say its a retirement home I can assure you its not! We did have a couple of incidents with the saga louts but you will get that anywhere! Around the toaster was a regular event! The hotel operates a pool towel removal service for those who place there towels on the sunbeds before 8am. Then again at... more

Me and my girlfreind recently stayed in the hotel Volcano. Please read this if you are under the age of 60, as this hotel will not be suited for you! The majority of the resident holiday makers are rude, stuck up and think they own hotel just because they have a few years over you. I felt the staff there... more

Just returned after 14 days of great weather and a really relaxing time in the hotel. The hotel retains the high standards that people have come to expect over the years. We spoke to guests who return year after year. The service in the Hotel bars and restaurant is excellent. Managers Manolo and Daniel deserve a lot of credit for... more

Having just returned from our first visit to the Vulcano I must endorse much of what we read on "Trip Advisor" prior to our holiday, yes the majority of guests are say over 50, indeed there were many using sticks, crutches and motorised scooters, all enjoyingtheir stay, indeed many return time and again! Good location, wide selection of good food,... more

Have just returned from this hotel where we stayed between 5th June to the 19th June and found it very relaxing and peaceful. This was our first time in tenerife and we could not have wished for a better hotel for our first visit. We arrived at approx 21.30hrs and missed our evening meal and were compensated by provision for... more

This was our 7th visit to the Vulcano and once again a wonderful holiday. The staff are so friendly and some even remembered our names.Food was excellent.Liked the new rules for the sunbeds at least it deters people from saving them and going off all morning.Would recommend that anyone going and haven't got a Spring card apply on line for one... more
