From reading the reviews I was aware it wasn't going to be a palace, but me and my two friends accepted we would be roughing it and we weren't too bothered. Upon arriving, it wasn't clear that we had to enter via the hotel Piramus, but we eventually asked some people en route. I think this should be explained before... More

Firstly wanted to mention that I read other reviews saying you'll be robbed here and am pretty sure they're meant for this place, but they came under Las Piramides which is part of the same complex with Parque Cattleya but is still a separate hotel. Las Piramides has a reception which is the same one used for Parque Cattleya, which... More

We had read the reviews on tripadvisor and we didnt really mind the fact that it was not top-notch, one stays in the hotel to sleep anyway. Well, one lives and learns... We were stationed on the first floor and it is really easy to jump up on the balcony so Im SURE this has happened before. There is no... More

Arriving to find a maze of corridors and security gates, staying amongst the locals. room 302-1 located on the 3rd floor no lift and rather dimly lit.Entrance from landing only. Room has single beds, with additional bed in the sitting room, Sitting room/kitchen tables covered in graffiti.Enough cutlery for 3 but clean, 1 very large pan and a frying pan,... More

A few of my friends and I stayed here at the end of July and quite honestly were dreading it after reading all the awful reviews! On our arrival we were surprised at how clean the hotel was after reading some reviews on here. The rooms are very basic but have all the amenities you would need, very central location... More

Arrived at recpetion was pleasantly suprised until got took to the apartments around the back. Looked like where the workers lived. Was dark and unwelcoming felt like a prison cell. We did not sleep due to our neighbours up all night. Went reception first thing. Without question they upgraded us free of charge into piramides which is a lovely clean... More

Where do I start?? Upon check in from piramides reception we got shown to our room that seemed miles away through about 5locked gates (felt like a prison) with plenty of steps, reached our room right at the back of the complex with one aptment next to ours, stayed here for 3nights and never again, room was so dated and dark smelt... Upon arrival we were escorted to a rather dingy looking room that looked a little grubby. The room looked dirty and dated. We found 2 cockroaches during our stay. The view was awful of a large building and a walkway where bypassers could easily look into the room. Very uncomfortable The room itself had carvings in the headboards and tables... More

Clean towels 3 times in one week and bins emptied same time. Very basic. Good balcony. Lots of good value cafés and gorgeous Bollywood Curry house across road from side gate entrance.Supermarket also facing across the road.... More

Just returned from a one week self catering holiday with my friend and can say I am glad to be home where I felt safe and could get a decent nights sleep. I had read the reviews on this place before we left but can honestly say I thought people were over exaggerating and it would never be that bad.... More
