It lived up to expectations and it is an older building in need of updating but it is kept very clean and everything that should worked. Our only problem was with the upstairs neighbours in room 412 who made hell of noise with banging doors and scrapping furniture every time they came in and it usually went on for over... More

We came back for our second Christmas. Arrived Christmas day. Room on the 4th floor. Could see the sea !!. This place is not the Ritz, but it is clean and in a good location, with a supermarket on the block. Given the chance we would return !!

We came here during a stay over the summer, due to the fantastic value for money and location to the Yumbo centre (yes we were there for a big gay holiday). Service was fine, rooms were basic, but clean. Beds were reasonably comfortable and the balconies meant a nice chill out in the evening before heading out. Pool area was... More

We stayed here for a few nights. The hotel is clean and authentic, decorated with old furniture. The downside would be the bed springs that do hurt after a while. A unique experience with the TV in our hotel room as we had to pay 50 cent per hour! The restaurant is even preferred by locals. The paella is very... More

We visited again in March 2014,and nothing much has changed.essential that you avoid Ground floor because you either get a view of a grass embankment or a room opposite pool with everyone looking into your apartment. These are very basic apartments with no kettle, toaster, microwave and rip off TV on a pay to view basis.Because they are designed for a maximum of... On arrival I had to go find someone to book me in. I was given room 115 which has a view of an embankment and has your balcony right at the front door to the hotel. After asking to be moved I was given room 202 which overlooked the pool and was far better. Room was fairly standard with basic... More

Just back from another very relaxing stay at the Los Aguacates. This time was lucky enough to be assigned a 2nd floor apartment overlooking the swimming pool which meant we had our lunch in the sun on the balcony each day. The apartments as previously stated are big and very clean and I took along a travel kettle as I... More

This apartment is located right by RUI Maspalamas, so you are very close to the dunes and the beaches. The apartment is basic, but spotless, with a good supermarket attached. The pool area is adequate and that with on onsite restaurant doing a daily 3 course menue for 10 euros...What more would you need? Reception staff freindly and always ready... More

We arrived on Christmas Eve and were pleasantly surprised, our room on the ground floor was basic but spotlessly clean. The supermarket underneath the apartments is excellent (hiper Dino) and has everything you need. Just cross the road to the dunes where you can follow the paths to the beach, or take your own Lawrence of Arabia style hike (... More
