We have recently spent a week at the Las Margaretas on a H/B basis. The hotel staff were all helpfull and friendly. Our room was cleaned everyday and towels changed on request. This was our second holiday to this hotel, the last being in the summer of 2007, and as a family we have travelled to a large variety of different hotels over the whole of Spain as well as around the world. Just back from our 3rd year at Las Margaritas, we had a fabulously relaxing holiday, the First Choice Childrens club was brilliant (well done Childrens Reps - Claire, Kristie, Luise & Becca). I was not impressed! Overall good holiday but my criteria to travel agent was 4 star, good all inclusive, good nightlife. It is clearly a 3 star, and the rep admitted they are downgrading it later in year to a 3 star, feel rather cheated when I have paid £700 for a week ! (each!). I want some money back.... more

This hotel should be downgraded to a 3 star in its present form. Check in verged on shambolic- 10 minutes to get a room and then when we got to it, the bed was still unmade!
