This hotel is siuated in the best place in San Augustin, immediate access to the beach, plenty of restaurants local and supermarket for the rooms essentials. This Hotel seems to cater more for the older Scandinavian Crowd, which I only wish I could get my hands on this hotel to transform it into the 'Coolest Hotel for the Coolest People'... more

Booked this hotel as it had been refurbished..Yes the hotel has but we were a party of 3 and stayed in a bungalow. This bungalow had not been touched for 20 years..Very roomy, very clean, however smelt of smoke which was very annoying as we had booked a non-smoking room. Hotel reception staff only catered for the germans, very few... more

Just got back from a long weekend at this hotel. The hotel has a 'No Kids under 14' rule which appealed to me and my wife as we had left ours with their grandparents. Unfortunately what they did'nt say was that adults only = VERY SENIOR CITIZENS. Maybe because its the end of the season or we dropped on a... more

We had a week at the newly furnished Costa Canaria hotel. The reception is nice and the staff very helpful. We were allocated room 328, on the side of the hotel, overlooking the Casino with a view of the sea to the left and the main road on the right. Don't let this put you off. We were NOT affected... more

We have just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel. The best feature of the hotel for us was the beautiful gardens leading down to the well lit beach promenade which allows you to walk for several miles each evening along the coast towards Playa del Ingles & Maspalomas and back Also excellent was the food; the cleanliness & the... more

I was initially very disappointed when we arrived at the Iberostar Costa Canaria. The decor in the hotel is very 1980's and the hotel does not have the 'wow' factor that other 4* hotels we have stayed in have had. However, we quickly came to see that appearance is not everything and although the paisley design curtains and bedding made... more

Just as the hotel web site describes it. Mainly older people, very few under the age of 30, very few kids ,but lots and lots and lots of Germans. There isn't too much to keep kiddies amused , and no wild night life for the younger age group. Nightly entertainment is OK , keyboards singers etc etc, . The hotel is... more

The Hotel Costa Canaria consists of 230 bedrooms on 7 floors and with 13 bungalows in the grounds - and most appeared occupied by Germans. All but 42 rooms face onto the garden at the rear and beyond it to the sea. The others are side sea views (with no bedrooms at the front or on the second side of... more

a beautiful well maintained four star hotel the buffet food was abvove average. The pool bar food was good but we found a quaint restuarant just across from the hotel which was really good. The hotel is on the beach. The beach has a promenade which is well kept and has lovely crome railings. The promenade is lit at night.... more
