The hotel is very clean with great staff and great food and drink. It is not as nice as ts sister hotels, and alot smaller. The ooms are tint but comfortable, and the poolside is very overcrowed as the pool is big but there is not alot of room left for sunbathers or people who want to sit and chat... More

Let me tell it from the start! bit of a trek from the airport (over an hour) but with the heat and scenery who cares! We arrived at the hotel around 11am and checked in immediately. Just back - went on the 1st October for a week. Initially we were booked into The Pionero, but for some reason we were moved, but worked out well for us. Stayed here beginning of Sept for 5 nights. First thing to say was hotel is nice and clean, perfectly adequate for us. Room has usual small TV with BBC World & CNN as your two main watchable channels. The hotels location is excellent - it's no more than a 1 minute walk from the front of hotel to the promenade.... Just back from holiday 22nd Sept. Second visit to this hotel. Food sadly has gone downhill. Luke warm at best and not very variable. Staff generally lok fed up appart from one female member of bar staff. On a positive note drinks very large and strong. Resort busy with lots of Russians, Italians at present.
