This is our third visit to Port Aventura in as many years. We stayed the last twice at the Hotel Port Aventura, which we couldn't fault, and this year tried The El Paso. It did not disappoint. The pool area was superb for kids and adults, (lifeguards are a bit strict though. We couldn't even play with a small sponge... more

Arrived back yesterday from excellent 10-day stay with our two daughters; 10 and 13, and find it hard to pick fault in anything about the hotel that is within their control. Previous "complaints" not typical of experience of vast majority of folks we spoke with during our holiday. Yes, lots of Spanish people staying at hotel just now - could... more

myself ,my husband and 2 teenage boys of 16 have just arrived back from the el paso having previosley stayed at the hotel portadventura. On arrival we were allocated a small room with 2 double beds pushed together, which as one of the teenagers was my son and the other his mate was totally unacceptable, we would have been lying... more

Very dubious about going here after reading reviews. Returned 2 days ago. Flight lovely only an hour and half, 20 min transfer from airport. Allocated 2 rooms as we are a family of 5, requested pool view, but this was covered over by huge trees. No fridge or kettle in room. The room was no frills! Told on transfer would... more

Have just got back from a holiday from hell. There are steep ramps all over the grounds of the hotel El Paso. They were so steep my mobility scooter couldn't cope with them, it blew 2 fuses and kept cutting out. The hotel lent me a manual wheelchair which meant the end of my freedom to do as I choose... more

Just returned tonight from the El Paso after a fabulous time at the Hotel El Paso. Got to agree with everything SAMBOMAMBO said in her reveiw. Very busy Hotel so you must be prepared to wait your turn. Yeh you have to wait to be seated for your meal's but it's definately worth it. Mind you if you don't want... more

Well, where do I start? We have just returned from a weeks stay at the EL Paso. I travelled with my mother and 5 year old daughter. The facilities are great for families with children of all ages. Rooms: we had a large room with 2 double beds, balcony and a large bathroom. Both very clean. Food: excellent choice of... more
