Despite all the bad reviews, this hotel is a decent and enjoyable place to stay. I was expecting the worst- as the reviews say: tiny rooms, unclean, stealing and horrible food. But Hotel Caspel was none of these things. The swimming pool was great, the food was lovely, the rooms were clean, but I must say were a little on... More

I must agree with most of the comments posted about this Hotel. We did however find the majority of staff here friendly and helpful with the major exception of the mature aged woman who checked us in - she was blunt bordering on rude. Breakfast was included with our room charge - again a typical Spanish style buffet but of... More

Went on a school tour with all my friends, after looking at the website of the hotel I was very excited, as soon as I got there I realised it looked nothing like the pictures. 1)rude staff- staff were absolutely ridiculous. Being young they seem to think we don't have a mind or voice of our own. 2)rooms- look nothing... More

On arrival and throughout our experience the staff at the reception were nothing but exceptional helping out with any enquiry and even searching for other travel arrangements for us. The room was ok but probably paid more for location being very close to beach. Room smelled strongly of smoke and I feel that this mainly flowed from the air conditioning... More

We were staying overnight in Salou and needed somewhere to sleep. We found the Hotel Caspel on an online booking service for a good price (out of season). The hotel is in a convenient location; although it's not right in the centre and is up a bit of a hill to get back to, so if you're of limited mobility,... More

Stayed here for a week on half board basis. I would recomend B & B only as there are loads of bars etc to chose from that do really good meals, saying that food at Caspel was fine bacon at breakfast was a bit odd looking but as its buffet you can always find something to eat.Dinner there was 4 choices... An alright family holiday here. Hotel was very average - nothing special. Breakfast was mediocre; wouldn't recommend B&B. In fact, wouldn't recommend staying in the hotel for meals, period. If you're using this as purely a place to sleep... you'll be ok. For a full-on package holiday, seriously rethink your holiday plans. Avoid the pool... it's heavily chemicalised and stung... More

I went with my Cheerleading Society from university, a package as part of Saloufest with ILOVETOUR. Both the hotel and ILOVETOUR were awful throught our entire stay. To name but a few issues, some of the girls' money was stolen by cleaners, only for an ILOVETOUR rep to claim that it could have been one of us girls. The swimming... More

As students staying at this hotel for 'Saloufest' I found this hotel unacceptable and wouldn't dream of going back there. You will be charged for EVERYTHING and the amount they charge is utterly ridiculous. At the end of the stay we were charged for losing 4 towels (which cleaners forgot to replace), totalling 200 euros! Any slight spillages on sheets... More

I was really looking forward to a weeks holiday with my friends only for it to be overshadowed by our horrific hotel experience. Whilst our room was nice and basic and the lovation for the beach was fantastic, the food was very bland, boring and mediocre. The prices in the bar downstairs were very overpriced too. The tipping point of... More
