We have been to Benalmadena several times and this is the first time we have stayed at Las Arenas but it certainly wont be the last. The hotel is excellent in all respects across from the beach. Staff were immaculately dressed and helpful. The breakfast buffet had everything you could wish for from fresh fruit, cheeses and cold meats, bacon... more

After previous disasters of booking holidays and reading the reviews afterwards, I decided to do my research first this time, and the hotel definitely lives up to its reputation. I went with my parents, husband and 18m old son. We booked our own transfers from the airport and they were there waiting for us and dropped us straight outside the... more

The Las Arenas Hotel is situated on the duel carriageway from Benalmadena to Fengirola, guests are dropped off with their cases 100 metres from the Hotel due to parking restrictions on this busy road. This could be a problem for older travellers with heavy cases as we were not informed by our travel agent until we got on the coach... more

Stayed here from 14 June 2009. Was given a room at the back of the hotel but asked if I could change for a room with sea view which we got the following day. Wonderful view from room. Looking across to the Bil Bil Castle and the beach. Food was very good, varied menu every night. Special thanks to Manuel... more

Just spent a very happy week here with my Mum who has also had a fantastic time. Good location for buses, taxi trips etc., easy stroll to the marina, Paloma Park is 5 minutes walk and well worth a visit - try it in the evening when the locals go for their stroll and after dinner coffees and drinks. Imagine... more

One of the best hotels we have stayed in for cleanliness and food quality/choice. Buffet service in restaurant. Reception/restaurant staff very helpful and friendly however the bar staff were hard work. one thing to remember when you book is insist on room that doesn't end in 1 as some of them have no balcony and this spoilt the first half... more

Just returned from an 11 night holiday at the Las Arenas hotel in Benalmadena that we booked through Thomsons holidays. My overall opinions about this hotel is as follows..... Plus points. Spotless with our rooms being cleaned and the bedding, towels etc changed daily. Very friendly and efficient staff, particularly the front desk & restaurant waiters. Excellent location just across... more
