Just returned from 2 week stay in Hotel Riviera. My partner and I (both 26 years old) appeared to be the youngest people in the hotel but it wasn't really a problem as it meant it wasn't rowdy. Also, adult only hotel so no kids running a mock, which was fab! Allocated a room on the 6th floor overlooking the... more

We went to the Riviera under our own steam as we didn’t want the hideous 0600 flight time on offer from Thomson Holidays. We took a nice midday flight from easyjet which I must say went very well. We booked the speedy boarding option which as it turned out was of little relevance re checking in hold luggage as there... more

I stayed at the Rivieria Hotel recently for one week on a half board basis. Arrived at hotel at 11pm on a Tuesday evening and check in was immediate. Cold food was laid out in dining room for late arrivals. I had a single room on the 6th floor right on the front of the hotel overlooking the beach/sea which... more

This hotel is mainly used by older people and if you have difficulty getting down steps you may struggle. Yes they have ramps - but - they are steep and hard to push a wheelchair up. If you go to the pool you still have a lot of steps to get down NO RAMP the toilets are the floor below... more

Very nice hotel, good selection of food for both breakfast and dinner, we preferred to eat out at night though as the average age of the guests was about a150, it definately was geared towards the +65 bendyback brigade(also apparently the whole of Yorkshire was stopping there) Good location though within easy access of the promenade and marina where there... more

Near to beach and Marina and close to public transport (bus stops) if you wish to travel to Malaga, Marbella, etc. Cleanliness was excellent and we thought the staff were very helpful. On arrival we were allocated a room on the fifth floor near to the road and were disturbed by the traffic noise. Next morning we asked for another... more

Me and my husband have just returned from a restful week at the Riviera. The hotel was very clean and comfortable the entertaiment was not to our taste but the older guests(which was (90%)seemed to enjoy it and the entertainment bar was always full. There are plenty of sunbeds and the sunbathing terrace and gardens are spacious. The veiws from... more

We couldn't really find any fault with this hotel and were very impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. We paid extra for a superior room which was spacious with a big corner balcony overlooking the promenade and the sea. The room was cleaned daily, comfortable and quiet. The TV had a few English channels. There was a good selection... more

Just came back from a one week stay at riviera hotel, had a pleasant stay. At this time of year they have tea dances,so if you are under 65 this is not the hotel for you.But we knew this when we booked the holiday. The food was very good, lots of choices and catered for vegetarians. The reception staff were very helpful... more
