Travelled here 3rd July 2009. I cant believe the way people moan on here! The Palia Roca Hotel is fantastic, and that is coming from someone with high standards. Reading the review below, a week before me and my partner travelled out, I was quite nervous! however the hotel was fantastic for loads of reasons... 1. The location. 20 mins... more

lovely hotel- charming and very helpful staff who changed my room as soon as I requested it and even offered to move my luggage for me. The gardens are spotless, the poolsclaned daily, the food is fresh with masses of choice and the fish grill a delight every lunch and dinner. I don't know why people moan about plastic chairs... more

Stayed here in for a week in July '08, half board. Food choice was great.....meat, fish, paella, pizza, meatballs, chips, rice and fantastic salads........spoilt for choice. Our room was very spacious, spotless, private balcony and a sea view. Hotel staff where more than helpful, the hotel caters for mainly spanish but they went out of there way to answer any questions... more

We booked this hotel after reading reviews. Four of us travelled with ages ranging from 24 to 80. We stayed for one week on an all inclusive tariff. Although the bedrooms and bathrooms require updating they were clean. Our only dislike was the way all inclusive guests were treated. If you were on an all inclusive tariff you were served... more

An excelent value for money older style hotel close to beach.bars and resturants. Friendly, helpful staff. A great covered in pool, heated as well. Good choice and ample breakfast but evening meal a bit repetitive but fantastic for fish lovers, you have to remember its a buffet so pick at it. We requested a poolside west facing room and got it with... more

We spent a week at La Roca from 18 - 25 October 2008. We were very surprised at how nice the hotel was, we have stayed in Benalmadena many times but in self catering apartments. The rooms were very nice with TV, balcony and sea view. We stayed half board, breakfast was excellent plenty to chose from and the evening... more

Stayed here recently with a friend. When we first arrived we were given a room very near reception which had no balcony and in fact we couldn't even open the window! However when we complained we were moved to a much nicer room with a balcony. We found the staff in the restaurant and reception very friendly, however a little... more

We are a family of 5, ranging from ages 16 to 56. We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in july. read some of the reviews before we went, took note of the negative ones and wished I had totally ignored them. We had a fantastic time. Pablo, the main entertainer was absolutely brilliant, encouraged you to join in... more
