When we arrived at the Benalmadena Palace, we had to wait 3 hours in reception to wait for our room as it wasn't ready. After being up at 6am this is the last thing we wanted! When we got given our room we had a top floor room which meant the roof was slanted and we had to duck all... more

Stayed here May, '07. Animation was great, kids loved the mini-disco and Antonio, after the kids show they had something for adults too, flemenco dancers, snakes and parrots, etc. Pools were nice, except for the dumb Brits going in the water with their shoes on, indoor pool was nice addition, food was pretty bad, we ate out after the first... more

Returned from palace on 28th June. Overall not bad, would say probably more 3*+, than 4*. A few teething problems, such as air con in bedroom not working, cooker blowing up( big bang) and key card void if kept near a mobile(they could have said!) Stayed self catering in room 504. This is a roof top room with a sea/pool... more

had a great week here, rooms were very clean (cleaned by a maid every day), all staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, we would have no hesitation in recomending this hotel to anybody more

Staff friendly and helpful but certainly not 4 star by any means! Pool area crowded to the point you can barely move between the sun beds. Kids slip and trip on the wet surface every minute. The indoor pool is really nice - a good feature and beyond expectation. Entertainment indoor which is a shame on nice evenings. The hill... more

Stayed during spring bank holiday weekend with two children aged 14 and 11. They enjoyed the hotel facilities in particular the indoor pool and fitness room. Weather was lovely and there was always plenty of sun beds. Our apartment was spacious and clean and had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We visited Mijas and Malaga and I was a bit... more

Arriving at the hotel we were greeted by that famous hill everyone is talking about. Not so bad at first but once you are doing the climb three times a day it does get a bit tedious and tiring to say the least. Our room was clean and basic with a kitchenette area equipped with a microwave, hob, kettle, fridge... more

Have just returned from this hotel via a booking with Alpharooms plus independant flights with Aer Lingus from Gatwick. Overall my wife and I agree that we can't really be too critical of this hotel, it pretty much 'does what it says on the tin' I do think we were extremely fortunate with our room, we requested a high room... more
