I bought a trip to Malaga for my husband's 40th birthday and originally booked the Vista De Rey some miles away. Was told by Lastminute that it was closed and was moved here quite literally at the last minute (two days before we left). Got very exicted about being in a 4* - but really it's 2-3*. The parking was... more

Stayed here with my partner, my sister and brother in law and their two young children. While the apartments were clean and spacious enough for two people, my sisters apartment was ridiculously small for a family of four. Our apartment was the opposite end of the complex, near the childrens play area, so no chance of a late start in... more

This place is listed as 4 star, in truth it's 3 at best. We spent 3 weeks there Feb18-Mar11. Passable for a 2or 3 day stay but that's it It has parking at 7 Euros daily, no tissues/paper towels/face cloths etc. so I used sheets and sheets of toilet paper to dry everything, so they didn't save anything. more

On booking in and going to our rooms we spent the next 2 hours going up and down to the... more

Booked a late deal online and chose the Vistamar for our stay. The rooms were very nice and ours was on the first floor so we had a terrace as opposed to a balcony. The terrace itself was very narrow but being so close to the pool it didnt matter as you could just pop the chairs round the other... more

This hotel is one of the worst i have been in. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. There are not near enough loungers by the pool. There are signs forbidding reservation of loungers by placing towels on them, however if you are Spanish this rule seems not to apply. The air con works by a sensor which is not in... more

my boyfriend and i stayed here for a week, last year we stayed in the hotel next door and had a brilliant time. This year we requested a pool view, so when we arrived and looked over our balcony to see a pool view of our hotel last years pool it reminded us about how amazing the other hotel was!... more

on the 13th of July 2008, i visited these apartments with a friend, we are both late 20s and just wanted t get away on a cheap break for 5 days. We paid £250 each and were a bit worred about the accomdation before we got there. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, we had a studio on the... more

I have just returned from a week at the Vistamar where I stayed with my 9 year old son. The hotel has a nice reception area and the public areas such as the bar, pool etc are lovely and clean. The major disappointment we had was with our room. I had booked a studio apartment and requested a sea view.... more
