We stayed here for 11 days in July 09 and expecteda 4* hotel, as advertised. A bitter disappointment - shabby, worn, tired hotel - even the towels are threadbare and so rough, you could cut yourself! 'dressing table' had fallen apart with the maids washing the floor and under the bed was never cleaned during our 11 nights - nor... more

Good point - near the beach Bad points - Attitude of staff towards English guests, sometimes we were invisable. Curtain track and curtains fell down in our room, it took 3 days to have it fixed. there were 7 in our party so we wanted to sit together at all meal times, breakfast time whoever was at breakfast first got... more

the hotel itself has a great pool area that opens up onto the beach and a modern walking area that lead to a fantastic shoppig center and dock area. The food was so so and not too inspiring and I doubt any chicken supposedly abvailable was real chicken and the activity staff were frankly rude. On the first day one... more

We ended up staying at the Triton as our second choice when our room consolidator advised that our original choice (Las Arenas) had overbooked and they cancelled our booking 48 hours before our arrival ! They tried to offer us another hotel in Torremolinos but I asked for the Triton. They gave us the Triton at the same price as... more

We have stayed at the Triton before and chose it again for its location and food quality. Unfortunately this time we got a room near the road and the "bump-bump" of cars going over a broken manhole cover drove us mad. We found the reception staff efficient but unfriendly , until I really needed help when my husband became ill,... more

We travelled as a group of two couples with a birthday in each couple for 10 days all inclusive, so we were looking forward to our original hotel the Best Belamadena Hotel, which had better ratings. However when this was closed for low occupancy the Triton was given as a replacement. The hotel was much better than expected, only 25... more

It is stated as being a 4 star hotel but it is definately not. The hotel is shoddy everywhere. Room was a good size but furnishings poor, towels thread bear. The hotel overall is in need of a complete overhaul (or knocking down). Staff were very unpleasant on reception and even ignored us if Spanish people were waiting. Pool area... more

Stayed there from 29th March until 1st April on a half-board basis. On the positive side the pool areas are very pleasant and well maintained. Although the room was spacious the bathroom was dated and beginning to look shoddy. The towels were ancient and extremely thin but the cleaning in the room was adequate. The restaurant however was awful. Breakfast... more

My wife is disabled so we need a car, but had to pay £6 a day for parking. Room 520 was very dirty, the locks on balcony doors were broken, and we had an army of ants for company. The fridge should have been in a cabinet but was just stood on the floor so when you opened it it scraped... more
