Rather hidden in the forest, this hotel is quite a gem. The rooms are rather austere, but I had a nice view out over the trees. The bar area is very relaxed, and the breakfast is good. I was very pleased with my one-hight stay.

Hotel Freigeist is an very special hotel . Being located a little outside the town of Northeim, surrounded by forest, the hotel has a cutting-edge, cosmopolitan feel to it. It reminded me of design hotels I stayed in Paris or New York.
