my friend and I ended up having the suit of this great place, just because every hotel in the area didn't have any prooms left. the price was VERY reasonable, free parking and WIFI availabe. breakfast was by far the best one we had during our trip. the room was very big, clean and welcoming. bare in mind that there... We stayed here on our way back from Italy for just one night. The room we got was big, almost a suite. The furniture and styling was all brown and beige, but it suited the hotel and it's location. The spacious room with a nice and firm king sized bed was spotless and had a nice view on the small... More

Typical Black Forest family owned hotel. Clean, helpful and friendly staff. The building is a converted mill with a water mill wheel feature outside one of the bedroom windows! Substantial Black Forest Food!

We've stayed in Glottertal on several occasions and love it as a centre to explore the beautiful country of the Schwarzwald. On this occasion we stayed at the Gasthof Schlossmuhle and we stumbled on a little gem! Easy to find, with good free parking, we were greeted at reception in good English - somewhat unusual for the area - and... More

My wife and I stayed at this typical German country hotel for one night with our small dog and a couple of friends on our way back from holiday in Italy. The room we were assigned (9) was more like a suite and for us was perfect in every way except one, which was that was it lacked a fridge.... More

A charming country hotel with almost everything you expect and would like to have in a black forest accomodation. The double rooms (and we believe they have nothing else) are almost suites with big modern bathrooms and nicely furnished, country style or modern. The breakfast buffet is rich and offers delicious products of the region. How the restaurant is for... More

Arrived late in the evening- had a very warm reception from the english speaking receptionist. The room was larger than expected- larger than the typical German hotel room with a sitting area, balcony, separate entry hall with armoire/closet area and large bath with both a shower and a tub-- separate. Our room was in a back corner and there is... More

We LOVED this cute little hotel. Its right in the center of Glottertal and sits right off the main road and on a quite little stream. The staff was really happy we were there and went above and beyond to help us, especially translate the menu of the restaurant. The food was so good and they had an outside patio... More
