We came across this hotel by chance as we were driving along. We received a warm welcome and given one of their best room but at a reasonable rate as they were almost empty. They have a very well maintained swimming pool and sauna area. Dinner was excellent with friendly service. Breakfast was good.

The only room available was under the roof, on the roadside (warm and a little noisy). When they quoted the price, I must have looked very disappointed because the receptionist asked me how much I wanted to give. It was the first time I ever got something off the price in a German hotel! It still wasn't good value though.... More

I stayed here with friends for one night before setting off on a hike in the area. All I expected was a bed and a nice meal. I believe we got upgraded to the recently modernised rooms. At least, the room was very modern, wonderfully comfortable, with a perfect bed and a nice balcony. Service was very friendly and helpful.... More

Stayed here for one night with business colleagues during a factory visit in near by Luxemburg. Found the hotel to be quite basic, even a little ‘rustic’ However the staff were polite and friendly, spoke good to fair English (always helpful as my German isn’t good!) The room was very basic, but clean, and warm!! (-15 ºc outside) which was... More

we arrived without a reservation and found the reception staff very helpful and friendly. We were offred the choice of two rooms and opted for room 65 which was the larger of the two. The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the garden although this did tend to get the smell of cooking from the kitchens. The room was... More

We stayed at the hotel for a family reunion. Our room was extremely small for a small child who needed to sleep in a baby cot and two adults. The room was functional the least to say. But what really bothered us was the constant stench coming from the bathroom installations, sometimes accompanied by the greasy odors of the nearby... More

Very small, dull and boring hotel for the elderly. There is a "swimming pool" too small for more than 4 people. Small rooms, nothing on the floor, TV channels only in german, and all the sport facilities they advertise are in the next town!!! The restaurant is awful and expensive, try the italian restaurant across the street if you really... More
