We stayed at Michel Chabran for three nights while touring the Cotes du-Rhone wine region. The room was pretty small but very modern. There was virtually no place to store anything - not a single drawer, just one wardrobe with a shelf, so we were pretty cramped. The service was always exceptional and the littlest details were always attended to.... More

We stopped in the Michel Chabran restaurant for lunch while touring the Rhone villages. We had a table by the garden which was very nice. We had the Espace Gourmand for 32 euros but the result was very disappointing. Concept, taste and presentation of the menu was something that you would find back in the 90’s. Service was slow and... We have stayed at Michel Chabran on many occasions. Both the accommodation and the restaurant have never failed to delight. We have often arrived as weary travellers having hammered down the A7 from the north and quickly been revived by the warm welcome and a seat in the sunshine in the beautiful garden. The rooms are well appointed, elegantly decorated... More

A long drive from Cassis found us in this unprepossessing exterior belied this oasis of French cuisine and delight of their garden and rooms. The food and restaurant are simply brilliant. Sublime service and such flavoursome food made from impeccably sourced and describing as home made does not do this finely produced food justice. Great dining experience. The rooms are... More

On the way to the South of France, there is a place which is ideally situated just off the A7 North of Valence, at Pont de l'Isère, it is the hotel of Michel Chabran which bears his name. It is on the main.road, the old N7 which was the main road to the South before the motorway was built. Michel... More

Perfect place for a stopover, 5 minutes only of the motorway towards south of France. Delicious food, (a bit expensive though but worth a try) and very nice staff. We had a small problem with the "neighbors" next to our room in the middle of the night, but Madame Chabran herself offered us immediately another beautiful room with view over... More

A nice, small hotel in a small, quiet town. Many nice vineyards to visit in the area. Perfect place to stay for a cuple of days, with relaxing in the nice garden or a stroll in the small town. For that french relaxing feeling. :) We had a nice double room, with a big and good bed, but not som... More

We picked Michel Chabran's Restaurant with Rooms having spent a tiresome couple of hours on the internet looking for good bed and breakfast accommodation to break our journey from Dieppe to the south of France. Although the price was more than we had hoped to pay we were more than pleased that we made this choice. Pont de L'isere is... More

The marketing was very slick and the food was highly touted. Admittedly we took the cheapest menu at 35 Euros, but two drinks added another 22 Euros, and what we got was both mean in quantity and unremarkable in quality. We were on our way from London to Provence, and what was supposed to be a delicious starting taste to... More

Upon arrival we parked in front of the city hall across Michel Chabran on a busy street. We started questioning our choice as we expected a countryside inn. However we quickly changed our mind once we passed the garden gate and being greeted by a pleasant receptionist. Yes this hotel is located on a national road that was once the... More
