We have stayed here twice in the last decade (very convenient for the station & the funicular) but this time just dropped in on the restaurant. The place has not change a bit in that time - even the staff led by the helpful & articulate Gilles look exactly the same! The set menus are great value and enable you... More

The restaurant in the Hostellerie du Petit Saint Bernard, behind the rather tired hotel facade, is very, very good. It has a wonderful, old style interior in a warm and comfortable way and you slip into a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere as soon as you are seated at your table. First class, knowledgeable, professional waiters and waitresses move calmly round... More

We stayed at Hostellerie Du Petit Saint Bernard on Boxing day 2014. we just drove from London and didn't arrive until 3am. After letting them know by phone in our terrible French that we'd be very late, everything was set up nicely for us to rest for the night. One must have a positive state of mind staying at a... We stayed here for a week in January 2015. It is a comfortable, if a little tired, traditional French hotel. The restaurant is a jewel with first class waiters in Vincent and Giles who made us feel very welcome with nothing too much trouble. Evening meals were a treat. Excellent quality and variety. Breakfasts were typically Continental but would be... More

Staying in town for the weekend in 'quiet' september. Went twice for dinner. Excellent food. 4 course menu de jour was perfect. great staff. Old fashioned but just right. Cheese selection was amazing coming from England where you get a couple of thin slices and a few grapes.

It's what you think should be your dining experience in every village you pass in France - GREAT FRENCH CUISINE. A nice central location, easy parking, close to the station and a passionate waiter who made us want to try everything! It did look a little dated as a hotel, but probably the busiest restaurant in town - for good... More

This hotel is very French in a good way. The staff are superb, charming, funny and very helpful. The restaurant is brill. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and functional. the hotel is close to the les arcs funicular and the town centre.

Driving back to the UK, hubby decided that motorways were boring so we 'popped' over the Petite St Bernard pass and stopped in the first town we came to. After some umming and arring we plumped for this hotel, based more on the half board package than the rooms as my husband was tired and didn't want to start searching... More

We ended up here by chance having been turned back on our cycle tour route by snow (in August!). We turned up here soaking wet and miserable and the staff were more than accommodating - even drying our clothes for us for free. The room was spacious and you could sit in the bath and look out the window at... More
